Answer: 
Hello elijones and thank you for your question.
Once adhesive is applied to the back of the laminate and the laminate is in position (aligned to the substrate), you will use the J-roller to apply pressure to create a proper fit. As an example, check out Step 3 of the Formica Laminate Surfacing located here: Read More
