This seems great but on the video it only shows cleaning floors and taking the entire machine on the sofa - but can you use to clean sinks, countertops, windows, etc..?

I have only used the steamer twice. It is easy to use, and love that it swivels easily, what I have a problem with it putting the scrubbers on and off... very difficult if you aren't really strong. The design could be better. The pads are easy to wash and suggest you wash them immediately so the dirt doesn't "set" in them. IT's light weight and easy to use. I did use tape to tape the cord up around the handle as it falls down otherwise and gets in the way or you have to always have it in your other hand. They need to have something on the top side for the cord to snap into to stay up and out of the way. Ditto for every vacuum or electric mop in the world. You really need a woman who uses these things to give you some design hint! as far as the quality of the product I haven't had it long enough to know if there are any problems... those show up in time. Will see how this product lasts. I am hoping a very long time as this is a very pricey machine

Works really well. We love the performance. We have had our unit for just under 2 years, so we are out of warranty.
About three weeks ago the ball joint at where the handle meets the base broke. There are two plastic pins that are part of the molded assembly and one of them failed and snapped off. I disassembled the unit and tried putting it back together with JB weld, but it did not hold.
Finally, we called customer service to order a replacement part and were informed that they don't sell replacement parts! In other words, your $250 steamer is disposable! Inside of the 12 month warranty they simply swap out your unit with a refurb. They offer no options after the warranty period but to buy a new units.
Went from fanboy to disgusted in the last hour...
Ugh.

I've had this machine about 2 months and am very happy with it. Used both the pads (with steam) and the brushes (with a grout cleaning solution) to get our kitchen tile floor looking like new. This was very effective on getting the grout, which is a light color, back to its original appearance. Very happy with this purchase.

I thought it'd have the same steam as the smaller unit, but it seems to be a bit less. However, the vibration can help in certain situations.

I purchased a steamer in late 2013 along with a multitude of accessories and extra pads and the vibrating motor stopped working after only 4 or 5 uses. I returned it for another and now the replacement stopped working after only 2 months of use. Not a good product for the money. But when it worked - it made my hardwood floors shine. Just a shame the darn thing didn't last.

I bought a new unit from Haan directly through their website. I received the unit promptly, although it was broken when i received it. went through their posted "process" to have the unit RMA'd,and a replacment unit sent out. Regrettably, they were not able to ship me another unit as their lable generator on their RMA process was broken. I caled them regularly to ship a working unit unit (which the charges had already been posted to my credit card) but I was informed they would ship a replacement after they received the broken unit. Keep in mind I could not return the broken unit due to their broken RMA process. The customer service line was following a process that was broken and had no alternatives......until I disputed the charges on the credit card. at that point, they miraculously agreed to send another unit out to me in spite of their RMA process issue. this was accomplished only after three weeks of phone calls and "misrepresentations" during those calls.
This is my fourth Haan unit and have always had a positive buying experience. My previous purchases have been through retail outlets (storefronts) and this was the first purchase from Haan online (direct). The direct purchase left much to be desired and the customer service "process" was lacking results. customer service representatives were friendly and understanding but the "snag" left them helpless.
