Probably going to get thumbs down for this review like some of the other negative post, but I have a vary hard time keeping the paint from dripping off the top. I use this to hold the paint while 8m cutting, but because the top edge is so rounded and think, it's hard to scrape extra paint from the brush without it running down the side. It is built solid, but the rim needsto be a bit thinner.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mateok Great design and function, however inconsistent quality
I purchased two of these. The first one I used for a several days without issue. The magnetic block that holds the paint brush seems like a gimmick, but it's actually quite useful and well designed!
The second one had an issue where paint was inexplicably leaking in small droplets from the bottom. At first I couldn't find from where and kept noticing that I was leaving a trail of paint droplets wherever I went. Eventually, I realized there was a small pin hole in the bottom exactly in the center where it looks like the plastic was joined together. It appears to be a manufacturing defect. Home Depot took it back without hesitation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ohheymeg Great Product!
I love the Handy paint cup! It works great for small painting projects and touch-ups. For the cost, I don't worry about cleaning it, I just throw it away. If I wanted to buy something with a liner, I would just pay the extra money and buy the Handy paint pail.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by urbcwgrl Works great with easy clean up
My husband bought and we filled it with black paint for the exterior of our home. Once he was done he commented on how great it was. He loved the magnet to hold the brush and it was easy to hold with the handle. I did the clean up and it was simple. Keep in mind that we used the high quality Behr Marquee paint in black. I don't know if a lesser quality paint is more difficult to clean up but this thing was awesome. For $3, you gotta get one!

The ones that gave it one star obviously are just sloppy and nothing with ever help them overcome that. This product is amazing. Here's a hint to clean it out... Let the paint dry in the cup and just peel it out when dried. (Won't work with flat paint though)

This cup is made from a textured plastic and it is almost impossible to get even latex paint out of it. It might be a different story if there was a liner for it but, as it is, it is the worst. The magnet is a nice feature. Buy the one quart with the liners and you won't be disappointed. If you really want one of these call me and you can have mine. Only kidding I threw it away already.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Steve I like everything about it except...
It's the right size, the right weight, easy to hold for extended periods and the magnet that holds the brush is a nice touch. Why don't they offer a disposable liner for it? I'm getting very lazy in my old age and washing out paint cups is no joy. I WANT LINERS! please.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Robby WORSE THAN A COFFEE CAN
The only good thing about this pail is the magnet inside that holds the brush, but this feature is negatively far outweighed by the fact that all top edges of the pail roll to the outside and drip on whatever is below. It drips far more than a coffee can and is a lot more expensive. Avoid this product unless you need aggravation!
