By far the best hammer on the market. This is a very versatile hammer. It has a side striker for tight spaces, a nail channel with magnet to hold your nails on the initial strike, a nail puller integrated in its side, etc.

I was a hardcore eastwick and stiletto guy. Then I found Hart. Unbelivable! Better power, balance, weight, and options. The side puller and striker is much more needed then you thought. Think of it like you had sirloin your whole life and was happy, but then you discover filet mignon and relieze you have missed out you whole life.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tango67 hammer good....like bacon!!
I am building a house with a little help from friends.....I have more expensive sexy hammers but this is the hammer I use 99 percent of the time....it's not too heavy so wearing it on my tool belt doesn't drag my pants down and the nail puller is the shizzle!!
I bend nails on purpose just so I can show off to my buddies on how eazzzzy peazzzy the nails pull....sweet!!

All I can say is wow!!! I used a 22 oz. kobalt for a couple years and it just wasn't cutting it any more, so I spent big money and bought a stiletto but I absolutely hated it, the grip made my hands sweaty and it felt like swinging a golf club, it had nothing behind it. So while at Home Depot in Florence ky. I saw this hart and at first look you can see the quality, it's got some rough edges but it's a hammer not a Ferrari. When you swing it, you can feel the force with it and it's balanced perfectly for minimal fatigue. I'm without a doubt a new loyal hart tools customer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lancyboy Union Carpenter on Hart
Im a Union Carpenter by trade right now Im building scaffolds on power plants I also do a lot of Heavy Highway & Bridge Work. Doing bridges I was use to using a wooden framing hammer so when that work slowed down I went back into scaffold building. So pounding on a lot of metal parts my wooden handle was taken a beaten!! Ive tried all types of steel hammers & never liked any of them (the ones I could afford up to $40), & didn't want to spend a lot of money on them. One day I needed to buy one, didn't care if I had to spend some serious money on one, just had to get one. So I got on to a few websites browsing around until I got to Home Depots website & found the Hart Steel Framing Hammer. It looked better & seem to be well put together so I had to go in the store & get a feel for it myself. The length was prefect the handle is comfortable its got a magnetic nail holder, a side nail puller & a side hammer head for those tight spaces. So now Im proud to say I own a Hart steel Hammer!!!! I love it!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Solid as a Rock
When they said "Nothing Hits Harder than a Hart", they weren't kidding. I have a 28oz Estwing that I have used for many years, but I have to say, since getting this hammer, I may retire my Estwing. This hammer is so comfortable. The thumb indention is perfectly placed, it's well balanced, and feels solid in your hand. The side nail pull is awesome!! One thing that isn't mentioned, but is very neat; the hole behind the head is a rebar bender. While you might not always be needing to bend rebar, when you do, I can see this being quite helpful. Great Hammer and a proud member of the collection.
