The description mentions an onboard rebar bender. My guess is that that is what it is referring to.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not a stiletto but a good hammet I bought this for my laborer who was jealous of my tibone (for his birthday) he doesn't spend a lot of time swinging and does a lot of demo so the side puller is good for him (like my stiletto) and it feels pretty well balanced. Great hammer for the price October 26, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by good idea, poor execution all of your innovations are stolen from one of your sister companies; . the side nail puller specifically. the "rebar bender" looks like you just drilled through the hammer to save some weight, and the grip is too plastic like, and looses within the first 100 hits. Its essentially an anvil on a stick. bring back the original. if you look at most of these hammers at your local home depot, they are used, meaning they were returned. take the hint hart. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Really enjoy using this hammer I got this for my wife to take on a mission trip to help build houses and she was able to use it with no problems and all of its features were very helpful. I also used this hammer after she got back and I am very happy with the features as well especially the side nail pull. I really like that feature. It was the first time I used a magnetic nail set hammer as well and find that helpful as well especially when you need to hold a board with one hand and hammer with the other to set the nail. Overall I think that this is a great hammer and will use it for many years to come. June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent design Love the balance side nail puller is awesome only design element i would change is thinner rip claw July 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great This hammer is amazing, and delivered on time, good service from Home Depot. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good hammer I'm just a diy guy and always thought a hammer was a hammer and never thought that I would spend this much money on a hammer. Boy am I glad that I did. Before with cheap hammers I bent nails all the time. I hardly every bend them now. Plus with the way the hammer is balanced and the ease of pulling nails is good too. July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hart hammer very nice hammer, wishing was a bit 17 oz . I like it July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good hammer I used to think a hammer is a hammer. After using this hammer I realized I get what I pay for. It's well balanced and with the extra puller on the side, it's so easy to pull nails that were hard to get to before and for nails I would use a block of wood to help me pull them. I hardly ever bend nails now. I'm glad I lost my hammer I had for years and was forced to replace it. June 24, 2016
