If I understand your question correctly that you are asking if this would be suitable covering for an outside back porch, I would say the answer is NO. I don't think it would be weather resistant for wind, rain or now. It was a great cover for paining, for a temporary (indoor) wall to keep construction dust out of our bedroom while we were remodeling the MBR Bath, but I don't think you could use it for a Read More

I have this up for about 3 years stapled to the rafters and also to the railing. I had to put wood strips along the bottom and screw that on top of the plastic and into the railing to keep the wind from whipping it around, but it lets light in and keeps the rain (and debris) out. I've also used it to put a temporary cover over an uncovered deck when we got really heavy rains this year and it worked pretty good, holding it down was the challenge, again I used wood on top of the tarp and screwed it down into the trim around my roof. It's really heavy and opaque, but does let light thru but you can't see thru it. Read Less

Answer:
Yes it will work. I have had the same roll for 3 years and were still going. I chose the clear just so it wouldn't get as hot to prevent burning the grass. I used U shaped landscaping stakes to keep the corners and side down. Have fun.

Answer:
The 10' width is folded in quarters, so the box is just over 2 feet long. You could take this home in a Smart Car.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Box says CLEAR plastic .... It is NOT! We thought that the product was clear plastic to use in covering a green house. It is not clear, but milky white that does not allow sun to shine through. Sad to purchase a product that is mis-identified, especially when one lives a long distance from town. August 23, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Great productfor the money. Shipped in a small box folded up so make sure you unpack it and lay it out at least a day or two before you use it July 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding product if you are doing remodeling internal to your home I bought this product and the "zipper" to make a doorway while we were doing extensive remodeling to our MBR Bath and wanted to prevent the drywall dust from getting into our MBR Closet and the MBR. It worked perfectly for keeping the dust out and having the zipper in the middle of my temporary "wall" made it great for access. When the remodel was complete I "spritzed" the wall with a water mist to keep the dust from becoming airborne. It worked really great. The 6 mil plastic was thick enough that it didn't tear easy, in fact it never tore at all. I highly recommend this product! April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked as expected Used it on my basement ceiling to keep the insulation particles from falling. Stapled it up and it seems to be staying just fine. May 10, 2016
