After seeing another product, BrassGripper, for around $85, which is very pricey for one specific caliber, I chose this, for reaming the primer pockets on .223 Remington/5.56mm brass cartridge cases. This is an inexpensive tool, just under $10, but I think it'll do the intended job. At the 2nd adjustment slot it's perfect for this size case. Since it's adjustable, it should work fine on other cases as well. Another post mentioned using this for 38 Special cases. If the plastic sleeves slip on the casings, I plan on using some sandpaper to rough up the plastic, so I'll see how it actually works.

You have to put a ton on pressure on these for them to grab with the soft jaws on. I was working in a small space so that was pretty difficult. Ended up wrapping the pipe in tape and using channel locks instead of these. Definitely would work better with a larger work space.

First pair of wide opening jaw pliers that I have owned with softer plastic covers to go over the grooved teeth grabbers ends. They work perfectly for this 78 yr old that often finds he lacks the strength to open soda bottles tight caps. It is an easy task now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it. Junk. I bought this to change out a sprayer on a $900.00 kitchen faucet, I didn't want ANY marks on my clients faucet. First they don't grab round pieces, second, they almost tore through on the first use and I was no applying much pressure. I was using an adjustable wrench for the hose connection and this one to hold the round handle still, no luck. I wrapped about 8-9 turns of painters tape around the handle and was able to get a good enough grip with my hand that it didn't slip. Bottom line is your hand works better than this junk.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Jaw covers are pretty wimpy. When removing a faucet aerator that had suffered much hard-water buildup, the mineral deposits actually GOUGED the covers! They'll hold up for now, but I'm underwhelmed.
