We reached out to the MFG for more information and below is their response.
"yes, but for that kind of project and depending on how many cuts will be made, you may want to consider purchasing some extra hacksaw blades. We suggest a 32 tooth configuration for this application."

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for. The blade was not the best, but the frame was made of cheap soft metal. I cranked down the blade a few turns past finger tight and it started to bow. This would be servicable as something to hang on your garage wall and use once a year. Other than that spend an extra $15 on something more sturdy.

If you know how to use it properly sand know how to pick the right blade for the right job it will last for years!
