Answer:
I would recommend a thicker product for slip and slide usage, 6 mil may be thick enough to withstand the action. This is a very thin plastic intended for paint and dust barriers, it would almost certainly tear on the first usage.

Answer:
I wouldn't. This product is extremely thin. Any wind at all, and your plants would be damaged.

Answer:
It is way too thin. It would not offer any protection. You're better off with cardboard and some sort of padding (styrofoam peanuts, bubblewrap, wadded up newspaper, etc.).

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Concrete Curing I purchased this as an inexpensive alternative to the 4 mil sheeting recommended for concrete curing. It is working out very well for the purpose, keeping in mind that it is exposed to no wind and little foot traffic in our application. To produce one continuous sheet, I sprayed contact cement along and near the edge of the sheet just laid, overlapped the next sheet about a foot, and walked down the clearly visible glue stripe to bond it. Using this method, my wife and I covered over 2000 sq/ft of freshly finished concrete in about 30 minutes. Picture of the covered floor attached. June 25, 2016
