Can I use it to remove moss from the asphalt shingles roof or would this product damage the roof?

Got moss growing on my roof and my local Home Depot recommended using this product along with a brush to remove the moss. While a friend of mine pretty sure the product will damage the asphalt shingles. Who's right?

Can it be used indoors?

I see no reason why and it is cheaper that the mold and mildew cleaners. This says concentrate, makes 20 gallons.
