14 in. x 17 in. 2-in-1 14/cs Paint Towels (12-Pack) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy, Soft, Absorbant These towels are handy for painting applications. But I also found other uses for them outside of painting: • Wet Sanding/Sanding: This towel works great for wet sanding. It wipes the surface clean and dry after sanding. The material rinses out (but does stain the towel). The towel drys fairly as well. The towel wipes away most sanding dust associated with dry sanding. A quick pop of the towel removes most of the sanding debris it has collected. • Surface Prep: Harsh chemicals such as lacquer thinner, Naptha, and acetone do not affect the performance of the towel. The towel holds plenty of chemical for application and wipes the surface (smooth surface) clean and no debris. • Automotive/Mechanical: Again, the towel holds up chemicals such as carburetor and brake cleaners. The towel wipes the surface clean with no debris.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Multi-Use Towels To Share With My Spouse I am constantly buying packs of small white towels because my husband keeps stealing them from my closet! I use them for cleaning and he thinks they are shop towels and coaching towels. (He likes to carry a small towel with him when he is coaching his team.) I never see them again once he takes them so I can rarely find one when I need it. I split this package with him and hope he stays out of my closet! They are very thin but they are terry on one side and seem to be very absorbent. They also have a hem which will help to keep the shape and prevent unraveling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great towels for painting, staining, and cleaning These 2-in-1 paint towels are handy to have and are good for so many uses. They are 90% cotton and 10% polyester and are a good size of 14" x 17". They are made in Pakistan. I like that one side is a terry cloth for general clean up and the other side is a woven low-lint cloth for painting and staining. The edges are hemmed. I was surprised to see how well these work for staining smooth wood. Using a cloth while wearing disposable gloves makes the job easy with good coverage and less paint drips. I like that I do not have to clean brushes because these towels are inexpensive and can simply be thrown away when finished painting. They also work well for general cleaning and absorb well even though they are not very thick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from low enough cost to throw away & tough enough to wash Pleasantly surprised they were 14" X 17" VS 11" X 17" with 12 in a bag which is enough for just about any project. 90% cotton and 10% polyester is a good mix and are fairly absorbent since are mostly cotton. Towels are hemmed on all 4 sides and durable enough to be washed and reused again. One side is like terry cloth but not as textured as would like, but still good for scrubbing surfaces. Other side is smoother and good for wiping surfaces, but I'd use lint free clothes for staining VS these, just because I'm like that but i guess would do a fair job staining. I use these for when paper towels aren't tough or absorbent enough and I'm going to throw them away. Also use them for cleaning or wiping stuff off & they can be washed clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy to have around I actually never imagined I would be writing a review about paint towels, but I found these towels to be quite useful when spot painting my house last week. One side is terry cloth and one side is low lint, and there is a slight difference, but I didn't notice a huge difference between the two. They are thin, so that made them real nice for rinsing out and reusing. I'm always looking for something to clean up with and these were great. They are basic small thin towels, handy to have in the garage or workshop for just about any job, not just painting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for painting These are perfect for painting. They're cheap enough that you don't feel bad throwing them out at the end of the job if they get wrecked. I've used four of them so far and have not found a single loose fiber or string on any of them. The cloth is thick enough to absorb / wipe up paint, but not so thick that they're cumbersome to use or carry. I did have to fold them once or twice when I was dealing with a very wet brush but it handled the volume pretty well. All around a great way to keep the job site clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mid-Grade Paint Towels that do the Job. Opened the package of paint towels and needed to wash and dry them before use to remove the lint. Though these are not advertised as "Lint Free", I expected a little better quality. Once washed and dried they worked OK. They did what you expect them to do, but these are about the same as old threadbare towels. Better than old t-shirts, with a little more fluff and absorbency. I guess if you don't have any old towels, this is a great option. They worked for me. Nothing special. Just decent rags.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good general propose towel It's a good general use towel for me. I do use it when painting but also use it to clean up around the job site when I'm done with a project. With a general propose cleaner I use it to wipe down walls, cabinets, doors and base boards. I also use them as a rag to dry my hands after I've washed them. After I dirty enough I just thrown them into the washer, with some bleach to, and they're ready to be reused.
