This is a VERY good unit. The main tanks is a very thick heavy duty plastic/pvc type material. I bought this 2 Gallon Sprayer for spraying my 1/3 acre of land from bugs to ground clear. This has a nice design with the main pump section / cap assembly as all in one. A nice hefty cap seal works well. This tank also has a pressure release valve so no way of over pumping unit. I did notice & didn't like the handle or pump shaft due to a flimsy feel of it. I thought a full solid plastic handle would have made this a bit better. The wand is adjustable from a stream to a fine mist & everything in between. Works Well & was worth the price.

For a low end sprayer this one works pretty well. I have only had it about 2 weeks so time will tell if it lasts all summer or longer. It is all plastic of average quality. It has an automatic pressure relief valve, Poly wand w/adjustable nozzle that provides small stream to fine spray adequately. The flow control trigger does have a lock feature with a reinforced hose. It has a semi-translucent poly tank that provides viewing of liquid. The best part is that it does have a 2 year warranty so you can return it if it doesn't hold up, under normal use of course. It is Assembled in the US with "global components". It is a couple of dollars cheaper than some other sprayers of this quality therefore I would recommend it if you are in the market for an inexpensive sprayer.

I bought this sprayer one day ago, the assembly instructions are simple but the parts don't mesh and I am not going to bother trying to force them and end up breaking something. I am taking it back and purchasing another brand of sprayer.

I bought the one gallon version of this last year and when I went to use it the o-ring seal was broken and air leaked out around the pump handle (not where to o-ring lives). Also leaked around the relief valve which would not seal. I should have tried to use this right away because now I can't return it. I use to have a Hudson sprayer and that worked great, always. Home Depot should be ashamed of itself for handling such defective merchandise. I think I'll start going back to Lowes because I can't trust Home Depot to handle quality products. If you owned a business would you sell something like this that has so many bad reviews? Home Depot should pull these off their shelves before it leaves a bad taste in any more customer's mouths.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Osbor Stopped Working After About 10 Uses
I used this sprayer about 10 times at the most. It worked well at first. I tried to set it up for plant food spraying a few days ago. It would not spray; only air came out of the nozzle which kept falling off of the wand.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JMC Terrible Product
It was impossible to build up any workable pressure in this unit. It leaked from the top lid around the pump mechanism. I found myself constantly pumping in order to spray. The pump locking mechanism failed virtually every time I tried to pick up the unit. The pump handle itself is wildly uncomfortable to use. The half-found design digs into the palm of the hand, leaving it soar and bruised. I would not recommend this HDX product. It is terrible and I am returning mine.

2 Gal. Multi-Purpose Sprayer
I have purchased a few HDX brand products in the past and found them to be good products but I would not recommend this sprayer. The sprayer comes packaged in a box with well written instructions explaining assembly and usage. Once you have assembled the wand/hose you install it into the tank. When you have completed the assembly you are ready to go. The sprayer works like any other sprayer. Remove the pump, pour in your chemical, add the correct amount of water, screw the pump back on, pump it up and you are ready to go. The pump handle is very flimsy, if you use it to open and close the sprayer it feels like it might fail. Many sprayers come with the top shaped so that it works like a really large funnel, this sprayer does not. The sprayer only comes with one nozzle, you should be able to adjust it to change the spray pattern but it either sputters fluid or sprays in a stream. The spray is very light, there is a flow adjuster on the wand but it did not seem to change anything. The feet on the bottom of the container are angled inward making it very easy to tip the sprayer over. The container does have graduated lines for filling but they are difficult to read. The wand can be stored on the side of the sprayer via a built in holder, this worked quite well. For a couple of dollars more you can purchase a much better sprayer.
Pressure release valve
Only one nozzle
Easy to knock over
Fill Markers are hard to see, should be printed in black
