Plastic sheeting can be used for many things, but mostly for separating soil from fresh concrete. However, I buy them to keep weeds from interfering with my blackberry vines. This roll is being used to cover a 20' x 40' vegetable garden plot not being used this summer. I hope by next summer all the existing weeds, plus all those blown in seeds will be absent, making me one happy camper. I will use part of the left over roll for this summer's garden and what is left around the vines. Here in hot South Texas I can get a year's use out of each section of 20' x 100' black 6 mil plastic sheeting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LAM19 Good and Heavy for mulch on a garden
Heavy duty plastic killed all the weeds underneath and made what was scrub into a plantable area. Put mulch on top and no one knows it's not perfect dirt underneath!

Great plastic. Use it to cover my wood piles and it lasts a long time thru some very snowy, windy Montana winters. Bought a couple of tarps a few years ago and they only lasted one year before totally falling apart and each was $30.00. This plastic will last several years. Very heavy box, however.........but I expected that.
