Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kdd999 definitely NOT clear
unfortunately, everything home depot sells that USED to be clear is now translucent. why??
i had the same problem with a shower curtain they labeled "clear"!
they should change the description. i'm using this to solarize a lawn, and i think it would be better if it were clear to trap solar heat. it's hard to see if the grass is turning brown through the thick translucent film.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dick Disintegrated after 2 months outdoors
I have been using 6 mil clear polyethylene sheet for a swimming pool cover for many years. I make a new one every spring and they last through a New England summer (about 4 months). This material disintegrated after 2 months. 6 Mil polyethylene is typically a milky white color; this material is a milky gray color. This color may due to a high recycle or contaminant content. This sheeting is definitely inferior to those I have been using for the the last 20 years.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CinRVA Very good quality
I purchased this roll of 6 mil plastic sheeting to use in solarizing some weedy soil inside a greenhouse. The plastic was in very good shape when received, and it was not difficult to unroll the length I needed. It appears to be doing the job for which it was purchased.
