Where so i find parts for tile cutter THD-14, (yellowWorkForce )? I need the bottom "foot" about 3 x1 inch,It is broken.

I need the approx.3 inch long x 1 inch padded foot that pushes down to snap the tile, it broke on one side and to my surprise not a very strong material.. I only have 3 more tiles to cut. I found a wheel replacement 7/8 inch, to score the tile and it fit despite being a different brand but found it very difficult for me to get much of a scoring line. I don't want to buy a new cutter just for 3 tiles. Can I get it by mail or have to drive 40 miles to the closest store, HD.

20 in. Rip Ceramic Tile Cutter is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from DONT BUY THE QEP TILE CUTTER! Today is 3/20/11 and I just bought the 20 in QEP tile cutter and returned it after 3 tiles. THIS IS POORLY BUILT. Where do I begin? The steel frame and sliding rods are extremely flimsy. They bend with extreme ease (they are not supposed to bend!) When they bend they take away from the downward pressure and promotes uneven pressure on the tile which leads to many broken tiles. 2) The scoring wheel goes dull after just a few tiles. I exchanged this for the 20 in Brutus and this thing is amazing. Its very strong, wont bend. You can tell just by handling this cutter that it was much better. Tiles cut with ease and precision! Even the rubber mat is better quality. SPEND THE EXTRA TO GET THE BRUTUS

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Had to finish a project late at night and didn't want to disturb the neighbors with the wet saw so I bought this cutter today. I couldn't even cut a single tile with it. The scoring wheel is too weak and the rails are flimsy. It might work for thin ceramic tiles but definitely not for porcelain. Don't waste your money on this garbage. QEP makes high end cutters but HD doesn't carry them and they also run over a couple of hundred bucks so unless your needs offset the cost of a good cutter, you might want to consider renting a saw for the job. I will return it tomorrow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good tool overall for the money using it to cut ceramic tile, cuts clean and tile snap easily. Used for cutting 16x10" tiles for bath remodel. Not making any claims for Porcelain but looks like it can do the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Buy! Tried to cut 18X18 porcelain tiles. First two were fine, third was passable. By the fourth cut, instead of snapping on the scored line, it snapped everywhere else. I sensed the handle wasn't supplying enough pressure at the start of a score, but there's no way to adjust it. After it ruined two tiles, took it back. I wasn't willing to pay for even more replacement tile. Waste of effort, time, money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spend the extra money to get a cutter that makes clean cuts Very aggravating. I've been in the construction trades for 15 years and know that a cheap or the wrong tool versus a quality product can make that difference between a great finish and a hack job. This tool doesn't make clean cuts, it breaks tiles if the cut is less than 2 inches from the edge, the slide needed WD40 or it wouldn't work. My 30 dollars would have been better spent towards an upgrade. I should have known better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality The quality of the product is very-very poor: - the base bands - the rails also band; In fact, because of that in one place the cutter does not slide any more and gets stuck - the wheel of the cutter gets loose all the time, so the cut tends to slide to the left or to the right all the time - also, small pieces cannot be cut with this tool: the breaker bar will break the time in another place (tried 5 times until I finally gave up). I believe I named pretty much every part of the tool and there is something wrong with it! I will never buy another product by this company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from at this price may be no better deal in US 1. Original QEP: the angle ruler is aluminum better than HDX plactic. The base foam is lower than center curb that is wrong, the knife screw bolt seems no spring washer; the main bolt seems no spring washer and nut was lost (metric), the washer is a bit long I need to file out to add a spring washer. Both screws are a bit short but usable, the whole design is at 3rd grade of student. You need multiple cuts before push to break. The breaker arm is a bit short so knife touched the tile before break, thus I break at the far end then bear end may not follow cutting edge. the height is 3/4" so easy to extend the base when cut at short edge. 2. HD messed up the info. the SKU is actually HDX 20" one with plastic ruler - worse, the angle is not 90deg neither. 3. both sliders have gaps, even $99 one in HD the same cheap design. Cheap design is not the problem, the problem is the gap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good tile cutter I bought this tile cutter to cut 20'' tile. Also had problems with making straight cuts; unless you hold the tile in place, you will get straight cuts. After a few cuts, the bottom part of the tile cutter bent and the cutting wheel chipped. If you plan to install tile as big as mine, buy the professional tile cutter.
