I would not.......I would use a tow strap.

Yes, I've used these straps to tow fullsize trucks across the country several times. Very strong and well built. I recommend 4 straps and crossing them.

Answer: 
I'm picking these up today, so ill let you know. Typically you slip it through the slit on the cylinder (right side in pic) but with those hooks on there, i'm not too sure.
