Perfect little toolkit for every home. The tools aren't the highest quality, but they are more than capable for light to moderate around-the-house items. Since purchasing a week ago, I have installed 3 ceiling fans, two additional light switches, assembled several Ikea furniture sets, replaced the kitchen faucet, and assembled my new grill. This kit seriously has everything that the average homeowner needs.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by sagu Decent toolkit for a start
I am a first time homeowner. Bought this set and it's already paid off. As several others have said, tools are not too high quality but you are not paying a fortune either. These are basic tools, period. The case is okay but can certainly be improved. Most of the times few tools can't stick to their spot in the case. Also the lock mechanism is not robust. I have owned this set for little over 5 months and the one of the side lock on the case has given up. The measuring tape's quality can be improved too. It just gave in after few uses as I stretched it a bit too far than it could really handle. Overall: a decent toolkit for the price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheMayor Great Spare Toolkit for Car or Dorm Room
This is obviously not a high quality set of tools to pass down for generations, but it is of reasonable quality (especially given the extremely reasonable price) - and is an excellent addition to your collection for those times when you just want to quickly grab some tools for a simple job without having to go to the toolbox and select a bunch to carry to the job. It is also perfect for the car, or a Dorm Room or starter home tool set. I love the compact carrying case (all guys love cases for their tools). The only negative is the fact that the "Tabs" that fold over and lock the case are extremely weak (plastic was extruded to a very thin Tab Hinge, which will likely break off after a few bends/closures). All in all, a great purchase (we have actually bought several).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EM Useful for most small jobs in the house
As family members misplaced my old box over the years, and some started to fall apart, I looked around to buy another tool set. This is a very good deal for the price. It has most of the tools needed to fix things around the house. I don't know about the quality, as I am not a pro, but seriously if you need to do a fancy job you should spend more than $20 on your tools and not be negative about this set. The combination of tools provided are useful for most basic jobs around the house. The box is compact for storage and easy to carry around.
The only annoying thing is, the tool set comes open flat in a paper box, with a plastic cover screwed onto the box. Don't know what the manufacturer was thinking, or they assume people have other tools. I need a screwdriver to unscrew it, but wait, the tool is sealed by the cover that's screwed on!
Based on the price and the variety of tools provided, this can't be beat.

This is a perfect tool kit to buy your student who is going to college. Maybe they can learn how to use the tools, or it gives you a set to use when you visit. Economical too for what you get. Items stored easily as let's you know what is missing when you go to put it all away

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DannyG Perfect apartment warming starter kit
The basic tools all in a neat place, and price conducive for the quality included. You are not going to build a new edition or a habitat for humanity remodel with these, but you can hang pictures, change light plates, put furniture together, etc.,. For 20 bucks it's a good assortment.
The latches on the case are weak and you'll probably need a strap after 10+ uses.
