It bends easily under the slightest weight. I was using on its side as a feral cat house. I put one wood plank on top which weighed no more than 6 lbs and it buckled. Maybe if you are using without lid to carry some light items around thats it.

Please, do not waste your money buying this product. As soon as I put my clothes in it, it bent out of shape and I had trouble fitting it into the lid. Please don't make the same mistake I did

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Reviewer Quality is lacking
Not happy with this purchase. Rubbermaid and Sterlite are definitely the way to go. The plastic is thin and flimsy. Handles are not smooth and beveled; they hurt the hand if any type of weight in in tote. It hasn't been more than 3 months and it has already lost its useful life. I have already told others, in this case, just stick with the brand names . It is not worth the savings.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIY40 Great DIY litter box for picky cats!
I had tried every type of large store bought litter box that I could get my hands on in an effort to get all three of my cats to use the litter boxes reliably. I ran across an article on line about using a large storage container. I ran to Home Depot and snapped up two of these totes. I went home and used an exacto knife to cut a 6 inch diameter hole in the middle of one of the long sides of each tote. (Just below where it flares out) I filled with 20lbs of litter each and put the tops on. 6 months later I have had zero problems with the cats going outside the litter box. I love these totes! I have a stack of them waiting in my attic now for when they soak up to much smell to be further used. So far I've gotten 9 months out of the first two that now need replaced. I dearly hope Home Depot never quits selling these totes!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by elroyy ok for light stuff but compared to the 30q at Big Lots for a dollar more... Lids won't stay on. Easily bent. Flimsy. HDX
Don't waste your money unless you're storing toilet paper or something really lightweight. Flimsy.
