Answer:
You will need an adapter to attach a garden hose to a sink faucet.
You can try this one:

If it has a regular garden hose fitting then, yes. Just don't buy it because it'll kink a cause you to invent new curse words....

Answer:
Unless your faucet has a threaded end (which is usually found only in laundry sinks) you will need a hose adapter. This adapter replaces the aerator on your faucet and allows connection of a standard garden hose. Unscrew your aerator and take it to Home Depot. They will help you choose the correct adapter.

Not this hose. They do make adapters for the kitchen faucet. They also make hoses for just that purpose. You may need to go to a big box pet store. Check at The Depot first.

They make a sink / hose attachment that will most to most sink faucets. Attachment can be bought for just a few bucks and will accept this hose and most other garden hoses. I use an attachment like this to fill my fish tanks.

Hello Sam and thank you for your question.
Yes, this hose CAN be attached to the sink faucet. However you will need an additional fitting called "hose connector adapter" first to be able to connect it to the kitchen faucet.See related product for the required fitting.

Answer:
I'm not sure of the temperature it could handle but with the thin walls I would be very cautious. It is, after all, a light-duty hose and was never meant for high temperatures. Even the heat from lying in the sun tends to make the material softer and prone to kinking.

Answer:
I think it kinks easy because of the thin wall hose material used. I had the same problem at first but I have had success storing it in a round circle about the diameter of a 50 gallon drum. I also noticed when the hose is hot (from lying in the sun) it tends to make the material softer and more suseptible to kinking. Unfortunately in light-duty hoses, kinking comes with the territory. Best wishes.

I suggest that you stretch the water hose out straight to allow the product to relax and then coil for storage. The HDX Light Duty is best used for patios, decks and light watering needs. Thank you for shopping at The Home Depot.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by So Bad that it's Funny! I bought this hose to water potted plants on our deck, figuring that a light duty hose would be fine for such a light duty job. I used it once, then attempted to roll it back up onto the hose holder. My husband and I started laughing because it was such a nightmare to roll up -- we've never seen a hose kink so badly! (See photo.) This little piece of junk is on its way back to Home Depot. August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Warning! Worst Hose EVER Purchased this hose for small garden area. Wanting a light hose instead of the heavy ones we usually us. This hose kinks even at the handle when moving around to spray. Even worse, the kinks are permanent. Cheap, but every penny wasted. Do not purchase. July 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light-duty hose Just as the name implies, it is a light duty hose. It's not terribly thick walled or durable but if you are looking for an inexpensive garden hose you can't go wrong with this one. Just be aware it wasn't designed or sold as a heavy, last years hose. I purchased this hose for the added reach I needed and expected it to be a "one season" hose but with care I could see it lasting a lot longer. September 6, 2016
