Answer:
I do not think so. The pitcher itself does not indicate that it is BPA-free. I did not keep the instructions that came with the pitcher, which may have indicated that it is made of BPA-free plastic. Also, the product description on the Home Depot website does not say anything about it being BPA-free.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mehhh, its a HDX water filter.... I've been eyeballing this at my local HD for a while, only looking at it to use as a backup filter. Brought it home and put it together as the instruct said to. Tried to turn on the counter/timer. Didn't work. Not the end of the world, it still works as a water filter. Can't complain too much because it went on clearance. May 10, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Design, Doesn't Seal There is nothing to seal the filter to the pitcher. Half the water I put in the fill reservoir just flows right past the side of the filter and into the bottom unfiltered. The filter just sits in the hole. There's nothing to lock it in place as with Pur pitchers. I end up with half filtered, half unfiltered water. Which equals completely useless. April 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Get it while it Cold Very easy to use. And the water taste fresh. And the price was right. April 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by filtered water pitcher holds lots of water, 70 day count down filter change reminder works well April 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The spring loaded filler cover is a bad design choice. Otherwise fine. Inexpensive, essentially a britta pitcher. The design choice to have a spring loaded cover to fill the pre-filter section is a poor one, imho. I have to stand there to hold it open using my finger the entire time filling it from the tap (the spring is somewhat stiff) ? Why not just have a thumb operated lift-up cover to do the same thing, which can stay open on its own? Wouldn't recommend due to the above, but otherwise it is functional as intended. Will probably spring for a more expensive (better designed) option soon, but this will do for now. July 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very bad aftertaste. Don't buy Very bad aftertaste. Don't buy. Even after following the cleaning instructions twice, there was no improvement in the taste March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great We really like this pitcher and the water is great! March 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for its purpose Lid falls off too easily, even when holding it in place with the thumbpress. Doesn't filter much water at a time, but use other containers to hold it. Filters everything as far as I can tell. The water tastes as it should after going through the filter. The filter does get clogged, but holding under a strong jet of water gives it new life.
