They do exactly what their supposed to do. It is the cheaper nipper but I can't see the difference between the two. They both do what their supposed to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Economical and functional I bought these to nip some 1" hex tiles on the edges. They do require some grip strength to make a cut. If that's an issue for you, a compound nipper may be a better choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use for an Amateur This is a low price tool and it works adequately for approximating cuts on tiles. I used it for trimming adobe tiles that had a glazed ceramic surface. In retrospect, I probably should have rented a diamond-edged ceramic saw. In trimming tiles, I broke three or four using this tool when I had to make repeated nips to fit around electrical outlets, etc. On the other hand, if the edges of cuts are in unseen areas (such as behind wall plates), this tool works OK. If you don't have a lot of trimming to do and have a method for smoothing edges of cuts, it's a cheap way to accomplish the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy tool! Used on small tiles and cut away sections that the 14" manual tile cutter couldn't get to without potentially harming the tile. This tool was pretty handy and somewhat precise. Just apply some pressure and you are golden. Use a stone filer if needed to round out any rough edges.
