Used these to cover the bathtub and floor during a bathroom remodel project and found them to be much easier to use than the polythene sheets I have typically used. I found them easy to stick in place using masking tape and once you're done, just fold them up and throw them away.
The sheets have a paper side and a polythene side and I used the paper side up to absorb the paint and other liquids I was using. I had the sheet down for a couple of days on a bare concrete floor and despite dropping drywall primer, interior satin enamel paint, thinset and Redgard on the cloth, it was durable and didn't tear. Since I had the paper side up, the dropcloth absorbed the paint and wasn't slippery underfoot which is always a problem when painting on a polythene drop cloth.
The other thing I really liked was the size. Our bathroom is around 11' x 8' and I was able to easily cut the sheet with a pair of scissors so I could mask off the bathtub and the floor using a single sheet draped over the tub side. I took the tank off the toilet and the sheet also draped over the toilet base with ease and didn't have to fight the dropcloth to get it to conform to the shape of the toilet so I could spray paint the wall behind the toilet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MacHic Very, very handy - and can be reused too!
First, I like the fact that you get 2 cloths to a package, especially without breaking the bank. Second, I thought their construction was ideal. The paper having a plastic backing is the best of both worlds - either use alone or on top of other dropcloths, tarps, etc. They're also easy to open up and place down. Maybe due to my short stature but that's always a problem for me. I used paper-side up and didn't slide around on it like other plastic cloths/tarps. And if you take care of them, they can be reused - for painting and other tasks as well like repotting plants in the Spring, cleaning items, etc. Very handy indeed!

I love this drop cloth. It is actually tough enough to use numerous times. I like the fact that you don't have to worry about the paint seeping through. The paint soaks into the drop cloth and stays there. It is just the right size for most rooms. Most of the time I put this drop cloth ontop of my cloth ones to keep the paint from soaking through.

I’m a gardener in an area where temperatures rarely dip below freezing. Many of my plants are “tropicals”, NOT frost-tolerant, and NOT in movable pots to get them out of harm’s way. Plus, not-quite-dormant (early Winter) or newly awakening perennials (late Spring) are especially sensitive. It doesn’t have to be a “hard freeze”; just cold enough for water vapor to condense on plant tissues that have been chilled to 32-degrees F. I don’t have enough sheets and blankets to do the job, and some are too heavy to use because the weight breaks boughs and shoots.
These are inexpensive (2-per pack), large-enough to cover many of the plants (individually and en masse), and easy to use.
Plastic-side UP keeps rain from ruining the drop-cloths; I let them dry, fold them up, and re-use. Paper-side DOWN keeps plants from touching “plastic” (even worse than no protection, since it can hold moisture against plant tissues and cause more serious freeze damage). The trick is to get the covers on BEFORE the temperature drops (capturing the heat) and get the edges secured (I use bricks).
Works for me!

These are nice and big and easier to use than plastic. They are heavier so they stay in place when you put them down on the floor or over something you need to protect.

The Trimaco Super Tough double layered, absorbent paper top leak-proof paper poly drop cloth really is an asset to any painting project. Since the weather is so nasty these days, I decided to work inside and repaint my walls and ceilings. This 9 x 12 foot drop cloth has saved my furniture and floors from the paint spattering and drips. What is great is that there is no leakages to the furniture and the cleanup is super fast. I would highly recommend this product.

A great alternative to my heavy plastic tarp, these drop cloths feature a poly coating which won't let paint seep through, yet are lightweight and maneuverable like a cloth. Fairly sturdy, you can definitely get a couple uses out or them, and they stood up well to being under my ladder. Trying to remove tape from the drop cloth did leave tears however. Ultimately these are good drop cloths - worth seeking out for the poly back - nothing worse than removing a drop cloth and finding seepage!
