I used it with this sealant, which is 29oz. 28oz is the same size tube. Sikaflex apparently gives you an oz more than the silicone guys.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 53 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good value, great for the larger 28oz construction/landscape adhesive tubes We recently installed a 20' long 6 layer block wall and the instructions recommended using landscape/construction adhesive instead of mortar. Since the 28oz tubes of adhesive were only $2-$3 more than the regular 10oz size, we decided to buy the larger tubes. As a result, we also bought this HDX caulk gun to handle the larger tubes of adhesive. It is a great deal and easy to use with some helpful built-in features. I really liked the nozzle cutting mechanism in the handle and the 4" long 'spike' that made it very easy to cut the nozzle on the adhesive tube and to puncture the seal so the adhesive could be squeezed out. The seal breaking spike rotates back under the body when not needed so there's no more searching round for a craft knife or a nail long enough to puncture the seal or worse yet, jamming a screwdriver down the nozzle and having to clean the blade afterwards. I also found it easy to stop the adhesive oozing out between applications by relaxing the pressure with the thumb lever at the end of the caulk gun. September 7, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Quality Solid dependable caulk gun, does make the work faster, nice cutoff feature for tubes I haven't seen before. Glued my concrete steps quickly and efficiently. July 26, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by a little uncomfortable to use but it is enough for the job I found this item a little expensive unless you have a multi purpose for this. I wanted to use it only for applying glue. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 90:20 caulk gun This was easy to use. I purchased it to use in putting in the flooring while closing in my garage. Worked great. April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It's a joke...and a bad one at that. Broke on the first pull. Not much else to say. I would not buy again. April 5, 2016
