Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't bother, buy the 3m product and save the money we wasted here. I am a long time pro, not a DIY who does not know better. In brief these are useless. Although the protective material is suitable for the job the other two key aspects, the nose piece and headband are not. The nose piece generally becomes detached from the mask as you remove the mask from the protective package (7 out of 15 we used failed this way before the first use). If the nose piece does remain attached then the headband will break as you try to put it on (remaining 8 failed this way before the first use). Headband issue is the fact they are attached to the mask with a small staple that is insufficiently strong. We went back to the 3m product May 5, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would have been fine with two staples per side This mask is cheap and would be perfect for simple use if not for the fact that the elastic band is attached with only one staple per side. What I do is to take a stapler and add one more staple per side before putting the mask on, and believe it or not, the strap never comes off. Just wanted to point this out to other users who gave bad reviews based on the strap. It would, of course, be great if HD just did this in the first place before selling us a poor product because I doubt two extra staples per mask add that much cost. July 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buy something else While cheap, the mask barely covers mouth and nose at the same time and after any shift it won't. Elastics are short and don't go around the head (I broke half). November 6, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fair, at best... Found these to be cheap. Didn't cover & protect very well. Strap was short & didn't hold the mask in place very good. Spend a few extra $ & get a better mask that allows exhaused air to escape. May 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by did well I needed them to protect from inhaling some powder (diatomaceous earth). It did the job. have brought them again Good price also. July 16, 2013
