Yesterday it finally broke, after cutting over 30 panels of drywall, rolls of roofing paper, and so many other things I threw at it. I felt like I definitely got my money's worth. I wonder if the quality of the product has gone down in the past year based on the other reviews. I've used other retractable knives that have the option to more quickly switch out the blades but I've found that the blades wobble more than with this knife.

Has a funky method of opening and closing where a plastic clip holds it together. Very easy to break. I dropped it 4 feed and it snapped. Even when brand new was hard to take apart to replace the blade. Just buy the metal constructed Stanley utility knife. Its worth the extra $2.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Usable but cheap Feels very cheap, and of poor quality. Avoid this knife and spend money on a quality utility knife.

It is not auto-retract, the button for the blade is difficult to use & gets stuck all the time. I spent more time fussing with the button trying to get the blade to move that I did using it to cut anything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy I bought these for the people at work. They usually don't last 1 week. The golden push tab brakes after the first drop on the floor from around 4-5 feet. The only reason I keep buying them is because people take the nice knives and no one will take these because they know they don't last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breaks Right Away I wish there was a way to give zero stars! I picked this up as an extra to have just in case... what a waste! It broke on day 1! Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars on one that will last..
