DO YOU SELL JUST A 5/16 VALVE WRENCH ONLY

I REALLY DON'T NEED THE WHOLE SET, I JUST NEED A 5/16 VALVE WRENCH
Asked by: TATE
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. I was able to find a 29/32 in. x 31/32 in. Shower Valve Socket Wrench sold separately. The store SKU is1000012837. Because this item is only available in Home Depot stores, I believe the best advice would be to talk to one of our many professionals in the Plumbing Department at your local Home Depot store. For any other questions, please visit your nearest local Home Depot store or call us at HomeDepot.com Customer Service 800-430-3376.

The shower valve wrench set worked out great, I didn't know which size I would need before I got into it, but they were perfect. Made the job so much easier, I doubt I would have been able to change them out without this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for removing a shallow 1 7/16" nut from an old Pfister faucet I had an ancient Price Pfister kitchen faucet that needed replacing, and, unlike modern faucets, it's held in place by a very shallow 1 7/16" hex nut. With the years of corrosion and residue on it, was impossible to turn with a channel lock or adjustable plier, and by basin wrench was too small. I fought with it for more than an hour before heading back to Home Depot. The largest socket in this set is a perfect fit for the Pfister hex nut, and the holes in the cylinder allowed me to insert a screwdriver and get enough torque on it to break it free (though I had my 11-yr-old up top gripping the faucet so it wouldn't turn). I'm not sure there would have been another way to remove it, other than with a Dremel tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great. Good cost. I had a leaking shower. I have a dedicated thermostatic control and separate volume control knobs. I had to remove the screw cap from the stem with this tool. It has several sizes and the middle wrench fit right in. 30 seconds later, I was screwing in the stem cap. Worked great.
