Answer:
When using HTH® Green to Blue we recommend waiting until all of the part 2 (flocculant) has been removed from the pool. Then test your water and if the chlorine level is 1-4 ppm and the pH is 7.2-7.8 you can swim. If you have more questions please chat with us at www.hthpools.com or call 866-484-7665.

I would not recommend this product! We have enjoyed our pool for over forty years and this was the worst product yet. Read Less

Answer:
Yes, HTH® Green to Blue can be used with a fiberglass pool. Please keep in mind though that you will also need to have a filter system (such as a sand filter) that has a waste setting so that you can vacuum the pool and by pass the filter media. Most cartridge and D.E. filters do not have this setting.
Please give us a call, 866-484-7665, or chat with us at www.hthpools.com and we can help you decide if

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nightmare! The product did drop the sediment to the bottom of the pool after two days and the water was clearer, but the vacuuming up was an absolute nightmare!! The sediment was actually a very fine powdery consistency which was extremely difficult to vacuum up. A ripple in the water would send the sediment up into the water so I had to spend days trying to sweep it into a corner to make it easy to vacuum up. FURTHER, the amount of water I had to waste removing the sediment has been unconsciable, especially here in California! I have read some reviews where folks have wasted one third of the water in their pool just removing the sediment. This is unacceptable! March 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a miracle pool cleaner I tried for two months to clear my 18,000 gal pool and no luck , going to my favorite pool place. The man there was very helpful but to no avail $600.00 later and it was getting greener and greener. Then a friend of mine who has the same size pool said he could clear up my pool in three days. Well I did not believe that it was possible even though his wife kept saying he was right. That he was her on personal pool man.LOL Well-- When he came over to my home I was at the point of filling in my pool and I TRULY love my pool. he put this stuff in my pool and says he will be back tomorrow and I'm thinking yea sure. The next day comes and I get up early to see this miracle and there is the proof everything has stettled to the bottom so when he comes in he just vacuums it out and we are almost to where I can jump in my pool. This man and your hth green to blue saved my pool and my happiness. Can not thank you and him enough. August 20, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not use this product! I tried using this product and our pool went from slightly green to brown! The next day I went to vacuum what had settled on the floor but everytime I turned on the vacuum it agitated the water and all of the particles come off the bottom and turn our pool brown and make it so the vacuum can't pick anything up! I have literally tried vacuuming it 6 time and our water is still brown from the copper colored chemical this product uses. I will never buy it again and would not recommend anyone buying it! Our pool looks a thousand time worse than it did before we tried using this system and I followed the instructions to a T. July 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works like magic! I had a pool that was bright green and disgusting. Nothing was working so I figured for the price I would give this a shot. I bought a box and followed the directions and the next day there was algae floating on the pool. I figured I needed another box so I purchased one and did another treatment. The next morning the pool was a cloudy gray color but the algae wasn't on the top and it was no longer green. I ran the pump for 2 hours and then my pool was crystal clear! I vacuumed the dead algae from the bottom to waste and now I have a fully functional pool again! I would definitely buy this product again. Although it says it doesn't work with a DE filter, I have a DE filter and it worked fine with it. It just took alittle longer than 24 hours but it was definitely worth it! August 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Improvement Bought this in hopes of making any kind of improvement in our dark green pool after vacation. Followed the instructions and had absolutely no change next morning. We vacumed and now I'm just going out to buy alot of shock. Waste of money. Just put 5 bags a shock in everyday with filter running until its clear. August 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does what it says Last year, we bought a house with a pool. So this year is my first year of learning to care for a pool. From early May until late June I have been fighting to get my pool clear. It would get to almost clear and then overnight turn green again. All of my chem levels would be right. I would shock and backflow regularly and would be unable to clarify the pool. I went through 2 huge bottles of baking soda, 3 bottles of clarifier, a crate of shock, and a bottle of concentrated chlorine and was only to the point that I could see my feet fuzzily at the bottom of the pool on its best days. Then I gave this a go. I did the shock packs and put in the furry brown stuff per directions the night before. When the water turned murky green/brown, I thought "I hope that means it is working or this is going to look bad." The next morning, I came out to a ridiculously clear pool with globs of the collected algae on the bottom. A slow and careful vacuuming to waste (don't be a fool and vacuum this much stuff to the filter), my pool was great. The next day, some more had settled from when it got stirred up. Another quick vacuum and that was the last I have seen of anything green in my pool. I will definitely start next year with this. June 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Miracle Cure for a Major Algae Bloom - when you can Vacuum to Waste. This product is a miracle cure to clean up a severe algae bloom. Is it a quick fix. In my experience it may take from 1 - 2 days for the "Crud" to settle prior to vacuuming, but once you vacuum all you see is clear water, as long as you don't try to vacuum to quickly, which unsettles the debris. If you take your time when vacuuming your pool with truly go from Icky to Blue with the vacuum. Keep in mind you might want to raise the water as high as possible prior to doing this because a lot of water carrying the green/brown yuck. November 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Lifesaver This is a wonderful product. It truly saved our summer. Compared to the money I spent on other chemicals from pool stores, this is a real bargain. September 4, 2014
