I'm considering purchasing one of these, but note that HTP expressly excludes covering any units purchased from a "non-authorized retailer". Can Home Depot confirm they are actually an authorized dealer?

As i work for the company that provides HTP product to the Home Depot. I can tell you that I make no secret of that fact and that HTP is fully aware of it. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HTP Elite Heating System Terrible!!! Only a one (1) year warranty on most parts and I have had mine for two years and the computer board went out....$1,000 after $10,000 to have it bought and installed. DON'T DO IT. HTP use to be call MUNCHKIN and due to poor rating and declining performance they changed names to Heating Transfer Products, Inc (HTP). BUY ANYTHING ELSE BUT THIS COMPANY... I coffee can with a block of coal would be better and more reliable. December 17, 2015
