This product is great if you are under the age of 30 and are have very large biceps. In other words it does work if you enjoy rubbing the project for hours, it takes a long time and a lot of effort to get the product to work. A better idea is to purchase the buffing wheel and the polishing compounds come with the bufing wheels.

I was really expecting this product to clean my heavily tarnished brass trade kettle. I didn't. Barkeeper's Friend works a lot better.

OMG! Avoid this junk like the plague! It dries so hard that you can't "polish" it off. It stays....and then you have to rub, very hard, harder than you can in tight areas....and then you see the remnant of the "polish" on flat surfaces as well as any nook or crany you may want to look shinny. Finally, in despair, I took a hot wet cloth to the muck and after working with it and drying it, made my piece look almost as nice as before I started! I threw my can away. Stay Away

Applied product to copper post caps we purchased at Home Depot last year. Made no difference in the look, removed nothing but they may be treated with some kind of spray that keeps this product from working. Also tried on the brass door and accents of my wood stove. Could not tell that it did very much. Looks about the same as before, just a slight difference. Other products have worked on the brass and brought it back to a very shiny, polished look, we do it twice a year. May work better with another tarnish remover used first and this just for a polished shine finish.

I work with copper and brass for architectural sculptures. This is by far the best metal polish I have found.

Along with several copper bottomed pans, we have a 24" round brass table top. Needless to say, I'm usually the one who gets volunteered to polish the table. I've been polishing this table top now for several years, using different types of cleaners.
I had an opportunity to try this polish. Although not made specifically for brass, this product is advertised as a multi-metal polish with a new improved formula. With that, I figured I had nothing too loose.
After cleaning the table top, this cleaner does everything it claims to do, and does it well. I didn't really notice anything special about this polish separating it from the rest of the metal polishing pack. It actually smelled like all the other liquid brass polishes, went on the same way with the same amount of elbow grease, has the same black residue when wiping down, etc...
Bottom line, to me...This is just like all the others, and I would buy it again, as it works with the same quality as all the others.

This polish doesn't perform any miracles. After several applications and hard scrubbing with steel wool pads I got a lot of the blackened stuff off the copper bottoms of my pots but not all of it. I guess the message is not to let my pots get so bad before I clean them.
