Setup was easy. This is a great refrigerator to have for parties. If you don't want to set up the tap, this is a bigger-than-usual mini-refrigerator that you can have in your basement or garage to store beverages. Lots of space.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by stillthirsty03 Oh, what a tangled web we weave....
I am sincerely happy for all those reviewers who still have working units. Mine lasted a little less than a year before the compressor went out. Haier customer service told me the unit was out of warranty and would not fix anything. Also, I was told that I was out of their service range area... Through my research, I have found that it will not worth it to make the repairs anyways as the costs will inherently double your investment. Bottom line... it was fun while it lasted.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bakidoman Works Well However,
I am happy with the purchase but after doing much research before my purchase I saw a lot of complaints about not keeping the beer cold enough. I have the same problem. I have made the adjustment to the thermostat recommended in the Service Bulletin twice. I am still having a hard time keeping the beer at around 34°. Stays more around 41°. BOO! I also have noticed that part of the reason for this is the cooling element in the back freezes up so I have to completely defrost the unit in between keg changes. Would have preferred the Summit with Auto Defrost but it is quite a bit more expensive. Almost double.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JimB Easy home brew on tap.
I like the ease of having good home brew on tap, no more botteling. The kegerator came well packed, and easy to get into my house. Assembly was easy and stright forward. The only thing I didn't like and use were the hose clamps. They are cheep plastic. I also wish they made a model for home brewers, that used soda kegs. I have no use for the expensive commercial beer keg fitings.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by swsglenn Excellent unit so far.
So far I am very please with the unit. Easy to put together and all the parts were in the box. With the temp control turned up to max the inside temp is about 34 deg.
So far so good!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave5 No problems so far!
It has completed 1 keg so far, and I have not run into any problems. It is keeping the beer icy cold and is pretty quite. I did replace the co2 hose clamps with better metal ones, but other than that it is running great. I would recommend this model to anyone interested in a getting a kegerator. I run the co2 pressure a little less than the recommended 10-12 psi setting, around 6-8 psi I find has much less foam.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IBdave14 Good value and durability. Can also convert into a space saving refrigerator.
This is a very durable product that can handle the big legs as well as the 1/4 kegs and smaller. It runs at a very low noise level and can cool a 1/2 keg to 38* F in as little as. 8 hours. The best feature is that it can be converted to a refrigerator in a few minutes. I highly recommend this product. This is the 3rd Haier I ow the other 2 for 7 years now.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mamakin13 Haier Kegerator is great product that is easily installed and maintained
The kegerator was one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. The complete, easy set up instructions were amazing! every detail was thought of, including the troubleshooting items (beer too foamy, too flat, etc#
I bought this kegerator for my husband for our new home and we've enjoyed it immensely the last few months. It is able to accomodate a full keg or 1/2 keg #1/2 barrel and 1/4 barrel) which is nice and everything works as it is described. The parts are all made of quality products and are sturdy so we know this will last a long time.
We looked at several different brands and Haier had great reviews and the price was reasonable especially for the quality of the product.
We are looking forward to many years of use.
