CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Very easy to install between floor joists, and easy to adjust to make level. Easy to cut down the braces, too, for narrow floor joists. Basically, easy in every way. We've only tried the housings with bulbs so far, no trim. So, I can't comment on the trim fit. For our install, we found it best to lightly nail all the housings in place to plan out the room. Then, once we were satisfied with the arrangement we took each housing down one by one, wired them, and then installed permanently. The junction box attached to each housing has bushings installed. It also has standard punch-out holes. For a lot of the housings I used the punch out holes and purchased bags of locking plastic bushings which snapped into the punch-out. These gripped the 12-2 more firmly and allowed the housing to hang for a moment on the incoming wire as I hooked up the outgoing wire. The included grommets work fine, but they won't grip hard on the wire. October 29, 2010
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality The cone holding the bulb is held in with cheap clips, a number of which broke when nailing the housing in place and required a trip to HD for replacements. Very cheaply made. Would find a better quality fixture next time. April 14, 2013
