Nice design, sleek looking, my hesitation is with installation. The light comes with 2 types of clips to retro-fit existing recessed can - but both are difficult. The end result is that the light does not sit flush with the ceiling - so I am using a little bit of caulking to hide the gap. I used thin blade screw drivers to push the clips in and still there was a lot of trouble of getting it to sit. Later on, I may consider replacing the entire above ceiling can, but that's if it really bothers me later. Otherwise, the lighting product itself is very good. It gives a different glow from the previous light, which was incandescent. It is very bright . It is mounted over the kitchen sink. Do want to watch out, if you change the clips, it has sharp edges.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BIYer Best Installed in 6" Cans
Installed 5. First one we tried to jam into a shallow ceiling box. Not enough room. Second one went into an existing 30 year old 5"can. Again, tight fit and the can separated from the drywall making an uneven installation. Installer did some surgery on the drywall and installed modern 6" cans and the installation went smoothly from there. Very happy with the results, looks great and the light level is amazing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tyler Love these lights!
Installed five of these into halo 6" cans in our newly drywalled ceiling. These look great, worth every penny. I see reviews regarding 5" vs 6", ours are 6" cans and these lights look amazing with them.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mario Used these to replace eyeball trim and halogen lights.
I had four Halo eyeball trims with short par30 75 watt halogens.
I wanted to replace them because we wanted to use the lights more often, and those halogen lights alone draw more than the rest of my home because all else in the home is LED.
They went in pretty straight forward, however the plastic hinge clip that holds the wire connector together was an extremely hard to snap closed. So much so that I fumbled the lamp and ended up damaging the can and the heat sensor for the cam ripped out.
Compared to the standard Halo trim, these LED trim lights bleed a lot of light from the side.
The old trim would point light exactly where you wanted without trim.
Also, the spin adjustment and tilt adjustment are too lose and it's hard to set it just right.
In the end I will keep them just for the energy savings I expect to get.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DMDM Good retrofit choice, slight buzzing with MLV dimmer
I like these lights. They seem to be the only retrofit available right now that is an eyeball design and casts a wide-angle dispersed light. They also have very good dimming properties (very low light levels achievable). I wanted the wide angle and directable light beams to cut down on glare in the family room. Works great for that. Unfortunately, there is a slight buzzing noise, which varies from fixture to fixture. This is probably due (in my case) to using an MLV dimmer switch. I gather. I was going to install an ELV dimmer switch, but I have no neutral in the area where I want the dimmer. So I can't be sure an ELV dimmer would fix the issue. I can say I tried an MLV switch from both Lutron and Cooper (who makes the lights), and they both give a slight buzz. Regardless, I'm keeping the lights. The buzz is fairly minimal, even with the low ceilings we have. TV is usually on when we are in that room...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DeckBuilder Great product. Easy to install.
We replaced our old pot lights with these LED lights. They are very easy to install. We just popped out the old ones and connected the new ones. We needed the adjustable model because they are located above our fireplace. They look great and we installed a dimmer so that we can adjust the level of the light. The only down sides are: the price, and, unfortunately, the outside casing was smaller than the original so we had to do some caulking.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jdjd good light
Easy to install and replace the original bulb and trim. The light is bright and good quality. I like the idea of the LED for energy savings, but the cost is a bit high. But I was able to get the ability to adjust the light and direct it with this fitting - which works nicely. I think it looks good and am satisfied with the installation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AchersAway Very good for spotlighting
I'm using this to highlight my fireplace. Very well made and easy as ever to put into my can light. Light is clear and colors show up nicely. Made in Mexico which is better than China.
