Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No issues at all I installed 2 - H272ICAT units in my multi-purpose room with a 10' ceiling. Installation was easy with the push-in nut connectors and the adjustable hanger arms. The manufacturer recommends Mark 10 (Mark X) dimmer which I installed (cost ~ $25 - $35 depending on color). As with most ICAT units, there is still a air gap between the light canister and the flat frame which I sealed with foam. The light output using a 26W TTT 2700K lamp is very good. Note there is no adjustable base lamp socket which I found lacking since TTT lamps come in lengths from 4.5 to 6.5 inches. The Lutron Diva dimmer has a adjustable output which had to be tweaked north of half-way to allow enough start-up voltage to the CFL. In my estimation full dimming is about 50% of maximum output. These units cost 8x more than non-CFL ICAT, but I plan to have these running year-around which might be cost effective after a few years. January 8, 2013
