After 15 years, 1 of our driveway lights had died...so off to Home Depot we went, to look for a replacement. Well, this outdoor lantern was a nice choice for us, since we don't care for the typical, carriage type lights. The price was great and they were easy to install. The light bulbs are going to be very easy to replace too (when needed) since the fixture is open on the bottom. The description reads, good for porches and backyard areas... but 2 of these light up our driveway very nicely and have a pretty glow. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this product.

The hardware supplied is flimsy. The center contact for the bulb was riveted under the contact for the bulb base causing a short circuit. The ground screw hole was strpped. I feel $29.97 is too much for this quality of a fixture.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fish Good look, reasonable price, mounting screws too short
Good price, unique finish. Fixture mounting screws are too long and cause a clearance problem when sliding the wall plate over the screws. Had to go back to Home Depot and make them give me shorter fixture mounting screws (one inch works OK). Also, the instructions show four mounting screws.....two are shown as being shorter than the other two. In reality the screws are all the long variety which created the clearance problem mentioned previously. It all most seems like the instruction author knew two shorter screws are required but the packers ignored it. Over all a decent product except the warranty does not cover the finish which is a concern on how long the finish will last.

This is a nice fixture - functional and attractive. I like that you can use up to a 100 watt bulb. I also like the look of the "seeded" (bubbly) glass.
2 minor complaints:
- The screws attaching the mounting bracket to the fixture are too long (they're about 2"). I ended up using 1-1/4" #8 screws I had in my toolbox, and they were still a little longer than necessary.
- I wish there was a cover for the bottom of the fixture - that would keep bugs out. Just a simple metal (aged iron) or seeded glass cover would do the job and improve this fixture.
Overall I recommend this light for sure - but I recommend buying a couple extra screws before trying to install.

I love this light fixture. I bought two of them from my local Home Depot 2 years ago to replace the ugly coach style fixtures that were on my house when I bought it. My house is an all-brick 1940's story and 1/2 bungalow style house and there are two electrical boxes on either side of my front door so I got two and they look awesome! They add that midcentury charm to my house. In the two years I've had them, I've had no problems. In fact, I'm very impressed with how well they've held up to the Michigan weather, especially since my house faces West and I get terribly hot afternoon sun exposure. Overall, I'm very happy with them. I plan to get one more to put on the outside of my back yard shed when I put it up this summer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by trinity343 looks nice, good light, not to difficult to installe
love having this on my wall outside. it gives good light for a small patio out back.
only issue is that during the installation I found that the mounting screws that came with it are to long. went back to Home Depot and got 1 inch screws but even those proved to long. i'll have to go try 3/4 inch or maybe even 1/2 inch screws for it

This is a very nice outdoor Lantern.and Very attractive.
Easy installation, However the Back Plate attachment design is a bit tricky.
If you have Large hands like I do, It is Tricky trying to get the Black decorative nuts on.
Be very careful not to drop one , because you may never find it.
A larger nut would have been much easier to handle and also better , because these little nuts are holding the entire fixture on the wall.
