With a change coming up in living room furniture, and a repaint of the living room in progress, it was time to consider new lighting. The new sectional sofa we picked out would eliminate the classical end tables and lamps we currently own. How to get adequate lighting for reading and yet be out of the way of the new sofa? Wall mounted lamps were the only option. The search for the right style and right price ended at Home Depot, and the lamp you see pictured here. There are actually three of them now installed in our living room, and with a wall-controlled outlet switch, we will be placing the new sofa set tight to the wall courtesy of these lamps. Installation? A snap. Assembly? Easy. Quality of the shade and finish? Good. For this price point we could not be happier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nicole Nice addition to our updated bedroom
Very easy to install - very nice looking, although we did swap out the shades to a color that matches our new bed spread. Overall give it a very high rating. It looks very nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sue Excellent inexpensive wall lamp
It looks like an expensive brass lamp when on the wall, but actually is a lightweight lamp that works very well. The 3 way switch makes lighting adjustable, and though it is a little narrow for a big mans hand, I ve no problem turning the switch. The only improvement I would suggest would be to make the stationary arm that connects to the swing arm, also moveable. That would increase the distance the light extends from the wall on either side just a couple of inches. However, I have it between 2 twin beds so it's perfect for the room. It is a very good buy that looks like the more expensive version.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unsatisfied Will not take standard LED or incandescent bulbs
HUGE problems getting a standard LED bulb to work in these lamps. The harp is so narrow at the base that the bulb will not install. Even a regular old incandescent bulb is an extremely tight fit - the glass on the bulb touches the harp and sends all the heat right up to the shade frame. We purchased a bulb extension kit to raise the base of the bulb a little, but even the extenders would not fit at the base! This lamp looks great, though the construction is a bit flimsy. But it's worthless if you can't use the "standard" bulb listed on the box. Unless you are using lower-wattage chandelier bulbs, look somewhere else!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ATXgal Just what I was looking for!
Like the simple, classic look and the price. The "arm joints" on the ones I purchased were extremely tight but they are designed to bend so that the lamp can be re-positioned. With some household oil, a little muscle and patience, the joints loosened well enough for my use. Would still suggest holding onto the wall plate when moving arms to any degree.

Installed easy, works great. I installed a three way touch button so guests would not have to reach up into the lamp to turn it on. being a wall mount lamp It would have been better to have been a touch lamp.

Hasp did not fit the over LED 3way blub I bought to use with it. Barely fits standard bulbs. Area employee nor cashier warned bout this.
