Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Easy install
I rehab houses into rental properties. One of the bathrooms I'm working on had sconces on either side of a mirror but they had bare bulbs with no way to install a globe. I bough these and was able to install them using the original mounting brackets. They went up very quickly and look great.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Punkahontas Not very good if you don't like the shade!!!
Bought a pair of these based on the look of the fixture with plans to replace the shade to match my decor. BIG MISTAKE! Have yet to find a shade that will fit, including the replacement ones at Home Depot where I bought this. Been very happy with other Hampton Bay products but they really dropped the ball with this one!

I don't know if it would have been my first choice, but the price was right and it does the job and still looks way better than what we had. Classed up our bathroom quite nicely.

This fixture is modeled after antique oil and gas lamps and uses authentic shades. Standard glass shades will not fit this fixture because they are intended for modern electrical fixtures. The size of shade you need is 1 1/8" - 1 7/8". You can find these exact shades online and even some made out of stronger glass. Just google antique lamp supply.

I had purchased a different finish lamp many years ago. This was the same style with a different finish. Very pleased.

I broke the glass and I cannot get a replacement for it without buying the whole package. The glass is super thin. Very disappointed to find out the replacement globes at HD are too big to fit in this holder.

Why on earth is the lamp holder not the standard size? You cannot by a replacement glass shade should this one break or if you just want a different look. Glass shades sized at 2 1/4" (which they ALL are) will be to be too big to fit on this fixture.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by sithspice Just try to find a replacement shade!!
Easy to install but if you break the shade, best of luck trying to find a replacement. Instead, you have to buy another fixture. Too pricey for me!!!!
