Answer:
These mount to any electric lighting boxes. They are flush mount and need to be mounted on the ceiling. Not sure if they are designed to hang on a wall. If your question is based on size - I would recommend measuring it off prior to purchase. If the question is brightness based, two would illuminate your closet pretty well - again based on the size of your closet.

1-Light Oil Rubbed Bronze CFL Flushmount is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price I've had similar experiences to the first two reviews. The light does not want to install flush. I was able to get it very by using different screws. It was not easy to install because of its awkward contacts. My bulb does not come out, but it produces such low light that it doesn't help, and the fixture produces a shadow on one side. I'm not willing to buy another, brighter bulb that costs almost as much as the fixture, and will be installing something different soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst light ever So many things bad with this product, it's hard to list. First, it uses special GU24 compact fluorescent bulbs. By special, I specifically mean expensive and low quality. These bulbs have two pins that line up in order to hook into the outlet. The bulbs go for $7-$10 each. The manual claims they conserve more energy than a standard screw-in fluorescent bulb. They are right; these bulbs save energy because the pins are so loose, they often disconnect and turn the bulb off. I then have to disassemble the light, remove the bulb, replace the bulb and reassemble the light. If I happen to bump the light too hard in the process, the bulb's pins will come loose and I have to start all over again. Next, the fixture mount is very poorly designed. It's not designed to be flush with the ceiling panel. It's actually designed to be about 1/4 inch from the top. No big deal, except that 1/4 inch only uses two (2) screws dangling from the outlet to hold the entire light fixture. The screws are not tight, they have to be loose because there isn't anything between the ceiling and the light except two screws. What's even better is that the two screws are held to the light by two holes that twist- on. So, after you assemble the light, if you happen to twist it 1 degree counter-clockwise, the entire light fixture comes loose from the ceiling. This happened about six times while trying to install it. It took me longer to install this light than it did to install my fan. My only advice is that you avoid this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Get what you pay for My wife brought two of these home, and I was pretty pleased with the price and the way they looked. However, as some of the other reviews have mentioned, installation was difficult. In fact, I had to return the lights because the hardware did not work with the outlet box in my ceiling. The holes for the mounting screws were blocked by the outlet box so I was unable to tighten the fixture to the wall. I fiddled with it for about an hour before coming to the conclusion I couldn't make it work. Probably would have been a great light if their hardware was more universal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome new technology very easy to install. light output is extremely bright compared to regular florescent bulbs. you never need to replace this bulb. this fixture actually replaced a larger one in my kitchen & I am very pleased with how much brighter it made it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Item - Easy install!! Simple little lighting fixture - Great look and inexpensive. Bought these to replace the basic contractor white globes. The pack comes with a bulb. The bulb is different than the normal everyday screw base. Hope they last a while - Not sure I've seen these on a regular shelf!?!? Could be interesting to replace!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time. You get what you pay for. Ok, the good. It looks great until you have to use it. The light that comes from this thing is almost non existent. When it lights up, half of the light glows, and the other half is dark with a shadow. This light stayed up for about 24 hours. I tried to talk myself into liking it, but the more I turned it on, the more I just couldn't stand it. The best thing I did was pull the box back out of the recycle bin and box it up to take back. Compete waste of time hanging this thing up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weird Light Bulb Looks pretty good, but uses a different kind of light bulb. Very inexpensive, but would happily spend more money to get one that uses regular light bulbs. I wouldn't recommend this product only because of the light bulb. I like the overall look and it was easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive upgrade Upgraded two flushmount ceiling lights in our house with this model. Took about 15 minutes to install for a intermediate/advanced DIY'er. Instructions were easy to follow. For the price, it looks very nice. Really good value.
