Does this plug into outlet?

This question is from 1-Light Oil Rubbed Bronze Sconce

I read all the reviews. One reviewer says they converted it into a plug in type outlet with help from store employee. Another says it is made to plug into outlet. I want one that plugs into outlet instead of being hard wired into circuit box. Does this plug into outlet?

It does not come with a cord to plug it in. It is meant to be hard wired in.

This is made as a hard-wire product.
Would probably need to re-wire or hire electrician to rewire to convert to plug in.

I did both ways, but because of the height of my socket and narrowness of the hall it is installed in, I went with face up so I didn't break the glass

Yes, it has a on/off switch. I wired mine into a switch, however; it can be turned off by switch or by the on/off on the light itself.

Answer:
Take the screws to Home Depot or a hardware store to match the threads. Simply purchase longer screws. Threads are easy to match and screws come in a series of lengths, ex,: 1/2, 3/4, 1", 1 1/2" etc.
I don't recommend getting them too long and then trying to cut them as this buggers the threads and makes it impossible to get nuts on or thread them into threaded holes.

Answer:
The screws depend on the electrical box you are using to attach it to. Move the box closer to the wall, the fixture is set for standard mounting, buy longer screws if you can't relocate your electrical mounting box. Hope this helps.

We reached out to the MFG for more information and below is their response.
"The Home Depot carries a wide variety of screws. Please visit your local The Home Depot store and bring your cross bar and lock nut to ensure the screw is a good fit."

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by definitely a fan I was a bit skeptical of ordering a ceiling fan online, not knowing if it would look as good up close and in person. I'm happy to report that it's gorgeous and well made with good quality materials. As this was part of a home renovation, I didn't install it myself - so I can't really speak to "ease of installation". The fan looks great runs beautifully, is quiet, and I especially appreciate the remote control. We have it in a 17'x17' room with a cathedral ceiling, and it circulates the air very well for the space. I'm planning on ordering this fan again, when I'm ready to replace the one in my foyer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful sconce I was looking for a sconce that also had a switch. I had to check several stores before finding what I wanted. They were easy to install and the light is beautiful. It was on stock at my local store, so I just sent my son to pick it up the next day . April 19, 2016
