This attractive head allows me to add an additional light to a 3 head track light that I purchase from another source for apartment upgrades. It is super easy to install, simply pull back the small square, insert it into the already installed track and viola you have a replacement, or additional light. It's that easy.

Was looking for something to make the 1970's track lighting in my new house look more modern and not cost a fortune. This fit the bill. Was easy to install and looks great. The light is much brighter than the old metal lights, too. Very happy with my purchase.

Like these compact style of lights, beats changing the entire system. Lighting is more than sufficient.

Purchased several of these track lights to replace some in my kitchen that are old, dingy and in bad need of updating. These have a classic look and are subtle in appearance yet provide a lot of light on the cabinets and island. Easy to install, as simple as lining the up on the track and clicking in place. Look great, love the nice clean appearance.

Shopped around quite a bit before I bought these. I am using a total of 28 of these fixtures fitted with 4 watt LED dimmable bulbs to light up my model railroad. Yes, it was hard to find LEDs that would fit, Home Depot did not carry them, I bought them (the LED bulbs) from Amazon. Actually, I ordered two different bulbs from Amazon to try out, the first did not fit due to the base being too wide, but the second, a 4 watt Lighting Ever GU10 35 watt replacement dimmable from Neon Mart ($7.99) fit perfect, and the ring screwed in place just fine. Great light control with standard dimmer, although they do not dim to zero, they dim to about 25%, I'm happy. 28 bulbs draw only 112 watts total, and virtually no heat. These are nicely made fixtures, very good quality and you can't beat the price! The side glass adds a nice touch, no plastic on these! These replace my old canister heads that are 20 years old and these fixtures fit the track just fine. Thank goodness for standardization of track, I believe I originally bought the track from Home Depot 20 years ago. I'm sold and happy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cookie Great track lighting - just ordered 4 more
We replaced the track lights we had in the kitchen with these. Decided to install track lights in the laundry room, so we bought 4 more.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Roscoe Look it over - Poor design
Purchased the track and two of these lamps. The collar on these lamps is poorly designed. Very little thread holding when you insert the bulb and twist on the collar back on. The collar on both lamps fell off when the fixture was turned on and warmed up. Pleased with the amount of light produced above the kitchen sink but now that one of the bulbs has blown I am pretty sure I will change out the lamps. Very unhappy with flimsy product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Schoolmarm attractive simple and economical track lights
Wanted more modern looking track lights for my efficiency kitchen in my log home, but needed to keep cost down. These clipped right into my existing track, after I figured out which direction to turn them. I wasn't sure I'd like the clear sides, but they turned out to give a pleasant glow to my plank ceiling, and also direct light just where I need it on my counter below. I nearly blew it by not reading the instructions right away about not touching the halogen bulbs with bare fingers (because skin oil damages bulbs) but I got away with it. I don't quite understand how these bulbs use less electricity since we are warned they get very hot. They don't look cheap!
