I have had a gazebo before that lasted for eleven years. I went through three tops. Company went under and I couldn't get another top. I mount my gazebo to cool decking with lags. This gazebo was simple to install. I reinforced the top with industrial Velcro in 25 different spots on the frame. Our monsoon season here in Tucson started a week ago and we have had several storms with high winds and heavy winds. The frame sways some but isn't problematic. The top drains great, much better than my previous tops. If you mount the base well and add some Velcro to minimize flapping then it should last for several years. I love this gazebo!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Champlette Nice looking, easy to set up
We just set up this gazebo today so I can't say much about its long-term value yet. It was surprisingly easy to set up. It took us just slightly over 2 hours. It certainly doesn't hurt that my husband is 6' 9" tall. That came in handy.
Important installation tip: In the instructions, it tells you not to pull the canopy over the corners until you've lifted the canopy frame and installed it on top of the lower corner pieces. What it ***doesn't*** tell you is that you should also connect the Velcro from the vent topper to the main canopy *before* you lift the canopy up to install it. The Velcro almost attached on its own, but it's much easier to do that while the top is on the ground than after you've lifted it up that high. We're using it to cover a small hot tub, so it's hard to reach up in the middle of the canopy once it was over the tub.
Based on other reviews, we've piled some heavy objects (sandbags, garden stones) on the lower frame to keep it from blowing away. A good tightening of the screws at the end of the installation helps to stabilize it. It's pretty windy right now and drizzling slightly, but it's dry inside, except maybe right around the edges.
Another few tips... the box is about 9' to 10' long so bring an appropriately large vehicle to get it. The box weighs about 93 pounds and has no handles so it can be awkward to move it. Also, the assembled height is quite a bit taller than we were expecting. Seeing one in person at your local Home Depot is a good idea before you buy it so you know just how tall it is. Finally, the description doesn't mention this but the zippers on the curtains are very high quality and easy to use.
It's too early to say how long it will last, but we like it so far.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Anita54 Gazebo looks great but the rain WILL come in.
I purchased this gazebo to replace my old one which finally succumbed to an ice storm. It looks great but I knew from the reviews and price the quality wasn't the greatest. So far I'm quite happy with it. There is no overhang whatsoever and the slightest rain will enter the gazebo. I'm pretty sure the netting will tear easily. I do love the corner shelves. A definate plus!
I would recommend this product, just don't expect high quality.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by bswifty 6 months old and already falling aprt.... Wont warranty.
Havent had it for more than 6 months and the conopy has completely torn , caonopy was removed every high wind storm. netting molds and falls aprt as well. But if fastened to ground securely, frame seems to hold up. I have contacted arrow and hampton bay both regarding warranty and they dont respond to emails and seem to block your phone number as soon as you tell them you have a problem.

We purchased this room 3 years ago and, because of the price, only expected to get one years use out of it. The frame has lasted 3 years. We coated it with polyurathane the first year, have left it up for 3 winters. (We took the canvas off the first winter). We replaced the canvas after 1 1/2 years. We have enjoyed many afternoons out of the sun but still outdoors. It looks great in the yard and we'll definitely purchase another!
