My husband and I absolutely loved this gazebo after a very long day of putting it together. We had a lot of trouble getting the canopy to stretch over the frame. It looks gorgeous, and we thought it was perfect for our backyard. We anchored it down (I would NOT recommend just letting it "sit" on a deck or patio) but it didn't even last three months. One storm ripped it to shreds. Both the canopy and metal frame were destroyed, and took out a chunk of our roof when it flew across our yard. We're extremely disappointed to have wasted $200. It is beautiful, but way too much work to take down each time it rains or gets windy.

This gazebo replaced a 12x12 we had which had been damaged by wind and sun over the past 8 years. We no longer needed such a large one, so bought this 10x10. Although the frame is lighter weight than the other one, it supports the canopy well and was very easy to assemble. The corner shelves are a very useful feature. The canopy handles wind well due to the four-inch overhanging "fringe" which ducts the wind below the canopy rather than catching the wind to stress the canopy. The corners of the canopy attach to the top of the corners of the frame through use of a brass grommet which fits over a built-in threaded bolt and is secured by a decorative screw-on cap. This is much easier to assemble and, I believe, stronger that fitting the ends of the canopy support rods into a "pouch" of fabric at the corners. The other gazebo we had had that type of attachment and was always the weak point of the construction. We live in coastal South Carolina and experience frequent windy conditions and thunderstorms. This gazebo has so far withstood all weather with excellent results. It is anchored at each corner with nylon tie=down straps hooked into eyebolts set in the concrete slab of the patio. Overall, an excellent gazebo, perfect for our purposes at an excellent price.

After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase this gorgeous canopy and I have no regrets. The package shipped complete with all the necessary hardware and instructions. For $200, plus the cost of added hardware for my own security, this is proving to be money well spent. Construction took about 2 hours. My daughter and I started in the garage assembling the panels. Some of the holes in the top of the metal frame didn't quite line up but I used my small battery operated drill to make new holes in the right place. Not a big deal at all. A neighbor walked over to comment on our progress and ended up helping to finish. 3 people are DEFINITELY needed. If you're as short as we are, 5'7" and under, you'll need a small ladder. The most challenging part was putting the top canopy cover on. It was a very tight fit but again, no big deal. The metal is REALLY soft so be careful not to overtighten the screw, especially if you decide to use a drill like we did initially. I haven't checked to retighten anything that may have gotten loose, but I'd advise doing so if you get a lot of wind.
Because this is Central Florida and we get some windy weather from time to time, I used large tent stakes (see photo) in each corner and tie down straps (see photo) to secure the frame to the ground. I don't have a concrete patio nor a wood deck, so for my own peace's sake, I chose to go this route. No regrets. It's been about 2-3 weeks and I'm still loving it.
This is where the magic happens. The shelves support potted plants with room beneath for a nice small palm or other decor. The hook in the top is currently holding a huge fern that I found at a local farmer's market and string lights that make the night time even more memorable. I'm considering the outdoor ceiling fan when it gets warmer, but for now, I'm enjoying the cool crisp evenings awaiting an occasion to pull out the grill or fire pit and create more memories.

We purchased this gazebo in 2010, so we've had it 6 years now, and it's still in excellent condition. Although this year we ordered our 3rd replacement canopy. Living in the south we have ALOT of storms, so about every 2 years or so we have to order a replacement canopy. But other than that its fantastic! Very Large space. We have had ours screwed into our pool deck since the day we purchased it and it's never shook loose. We entertain ALOT of neighbor kids and it's durable! I have a wicker bench, and 4 patio chairs underneath mine, a fan, 2 plant stands and there is still plenty of walk room!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by winszlo Quality lower than before
We've purchased this same gazebo three or four times over the years (they only last two or three seasons). Each time we buy a new one they seem to be lower in quality, more cheaply manufactured, more poorly fitted than before. This one had several broken welds and just did not fit together as well as previous incarnations of the same product.

This is the 2nd Gazebo that we have purchased from Home Depot and we have noticed that the quality of the material and frame has dwindled since the first one that we bought a few years ago.
