This is one of the best items since sliced bread.
It is very heavy, so the kids cannot move it around.
It does have a locking mechanism, but even if it didn't.....it isn't going anyplace easily.
ONE WISH: I wish it had a higher insertion pole.
Making the umbrella higher.
Measure the height of your patio table umbrella because it might not be high enough.

Very unlikely. The wheels are quite small, and the unit weighs over 110 lbs without the umbrella. i am sure the wheels will sink into the ground. It is heavy enough to be cumbersome to move on flat concrete, it would probably be impossible on grass.

15 FEET IS A PRETTY TALL POLE.
I THINK THE BASE WOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH, BUT THE POLE ITSELF MAY
BEND OR BREAK IN HIGH WINDS.
I WOULD GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT OR ASK AT THE STORE.

I don't think anything this size would hold up in a strong wind. Although the base is heavy, I think it is too small to stay upright on a windy day. I would plant the flagpole in the ground.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 344 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I ordered this online, because it was unavailable in the store for purchase. Waited just over a week for it to come in, when I went to pick it up they could not find my order and when they did find it they had trouble finding someone to help me load it into my auto. When I got home and opened it up it was shattered, so now all I had was a box full of heavy rocks. Called the online number and they said since it was a heavy item I would hae to take it back to the store in order to get a refund or exchange. The person on the phone stated that this item has a note attached to it that the store needs to check item before giving it to the customer, this was never done and it would have saved me a lot of time and trouble it they had done it. When the women at the return desk asked me if I wanted a refund or exchange she told me that I should get the refund because this item comes back damaged most of the time, so I just got a refund. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by heavy duty patio umbrella base I went ahead to order after customers reviews that was only negative on about the stand arriving damaged. Sure enough I got it some chips from shipping to my home due to my car was small & not good to carry heavy item. I had it fixing & spray painted black that looked fine. I decided to keep it. The base is heavy & very durable to move it around. Plus with locked casters. The base had 2 grab bars to pull up to move it around. I could move it around by myself OK. Very worth to have it. I plan to order me another one. August 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not ship well. Cannot recommend this product. Out of 4 orders, shipped to the store, all arrived damaged (even after requesting pre-inspection and extra packaging). This item obviously does not ship well. I recommend considering the Brown Jordan Greystone/Form Patio Umbrella Stand. It weights about 86 lbs - about 24 lbs lighter than this umbrella stand - but it will make it to the store undamaged, and it works for my 11-foot market umbrella - albeit it is almost 20" tall and may not accommodate the bottom guide built into the base of most outdoor tables. This was not an issue for me since the guide was not structural and I simply removed it. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stand! This stand is perfect for windy areas and is affordable, well made, easy to move and aesthetically pleasing. We can now enjoy our deck again without wrestling with our umbrella or worrying that it will topple over because of a light breeze or gust of wind. We are very pleased and highly recommend it! August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I like the stand's heavy weight ( 110 ins) which makes less prone to tipping and falling in heavy winds. The wheels make the stand and the umbrella easy to move. The locks on the wheels are a good feature despite the fact that they are very hard to lock and unlock. I leave them unlocked. The two screws that hold the umbrella pole in the cylinder of the stand are acceptable but I would have preferred a more heavy duty ones. I like the fact that the plastic collars come in three different sizes to fit the different sizes of the umbrella poles. I would have preferred a better sealing material to the bottom of the stand. I bought three stands. One was fine, the second had a little crack at the bottom which I sealed by an epoxy material. The third had a big chip that might have happened during shipping. I took it back and had it exchanged with another one. I thank you for your concern and hope that my comments would be of benefit to you. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best stand for the price...bar none. I researched all over the internet, there is nothing that comes close to this umbrella stand. It seemed too good to be true. I bought 6 because of the price and the weight. When it was delivered (free freight) it takes 10 min assemble to screw in the wheels and neck. Once that is done, you can roll it anywhere. 110 pounds is heavy, but the casters make it effortless. (They lock too and it has chrome handles to carry it as well) There are more expensive stands ($100-300) but nothing comes close to the features of this stand. I'm actually ordering 3 more after I write this because I don't think this price will hold up. (It's worth double the price) September 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Deliver to Store & check carefully I am SO GLAD I read the reviews! It IS cement and the edges CHIP very easily!! Mine only had very little chipping I glued & repainted. Have delivered TO the STORE . Un-box there and inspect! EXCELLENT stand. I am THRILLED. I did have a bit of chipping I glued then repainted. But this is a GREAT stand to hold an umbrella that stands ALONE. on a patio. I doubt it is meant to be rolled about on a daily basis all over, but for occasional relocation it seems to be fine. Not a toy for the kids to ride. I am really happy with this purchase. Next year I DO plan on purchasing another stand alone umbrella and I WILL buy this stand for SURE! August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well made for its economical price All the parts are sturdy and fit together well. Rolls easily as expected. Others sell this product, but Home Depot has the best price. They also stand behind their product. Our first delivery had a crushed post. Home Depot promptly picked-up the damaged base and then delivered a new one at no cost. October 18, 2016
