Can the dusk to dawn be turned off? I only want the motion sensing feature.

Ours is only motion, so I am assuming the answer to your question is yes.

Dusk to dawn and motion sensor

Is the light "off" until motion is detected or does it come on at dusk and brighten when motion is detected?
Asked by: Bo

Found the internal wiring to the bulb had twisted hard enough to cause the ground to cut through the hot wire. Fixed that myself and installed again. Had them all on the dusk to dawn setting. When dusk came, they would either fully turn on or start flickering fast as they could no matter what sensitivity setting was used until it became fully dark. Within a month they all died. I just pulled them all down and bypassed the sensor to make them all regular lights. At least I was able to salvage something out of them. Avoid these at all costs.

He said this motion type is often temperamental, but was pleased with it's ease of set-up. This was about a month ago and our light has performed perfectly. Not a nuisance. Triggers reliably. Casts a pleasant light onto our deck. Very pretty with our traditional brick home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Installed not quite 1 year ago and no longer functioning now. Motion sensor and dusk/dawn sensor did work but not very well. Light would activate when cars drive by on the street and not when someone would walk up to the door. Dusk/dawn sensor did work but the light would continue to turn on well into the late morning and function again well before dusk. Would have been far more satisfied with the way it functioned had it not suffered a complete failure for an unknown reason. I would strongly suggest looking into other products if wanting a motion sensor dusk/dawn wall mounted light.

We wanted a light with a motion sensor and this light looked perfect. Well that's where everything positive ends. First one stopped working all together. Replaced it. Then the other one stopped working and now the replacement one has stopped working. Junk. Spent too much money and time for lights that can't last a year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Install, Look Great We wanted to replace our original pair of front porch lights and were looking for something with more of a vintage look. We had seen some porch lights in another neighborhood which had the wire straps in the glass that was a very nice detail. We paid extra for the version with an automatic motion detector so we could walk up to the front door at night and have them come on automatically. This feature can be quickly disabled by flipping the light switch three times in rapid succesion to cause them to turn on and off like regular porch lights.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks nice, but... Bought one for side of house along driveway and I am very sorry I did. Looks great, but sensors work sparingly or not at all. It never senses day or night, and just stays on all the time. Motion sensors click on and off for no reason. Can't use the sensors at all, so I just manually switch it on when I need it. Nice look, but function is sorely lacking.
