I have checked everything, it is only 2 months old.

What kind of bulb are you using? If using a energy saving bulb, it has to be dimmable to work

Need instruction manual for adjustment and/or repairs

Hampton Bay HB48017MP-327 SKU 213532 These have been working perfectly, until now. One (of 3) is ON all the time, as long as it has power. It does not respond to the 6-2-Test switch (or the H-M-L switch), and it remains on even in bright daylight. I'm looking for the instruction manual to see whether there is some way to "reprogram" it. #I've tried turning off the power (for hours!# to see whether it would go from full ON back to Motion Sensor -- but nothing changed. Link to Manual, or advice, please.

This light is sensitive to RF fields

I have had this light for about 3 years. I have a ham transmitter about 100 feet from the light. Every time I key my transmitter either on 146 Mhz or 444 Mhz , the light comes on. What can I do to make this light more insensitive to RF fields? I also have a boat radio (156 Mhz) on the dock near the light. It triggers on the light. I think this should be re-designed and tested for RF sensitivity.
Asked by: Carver86
I am using tungsten filament bulbs. The problem is that the circuitry that detects the motion sensor is not bi-passed well enough. The RF is probably getting into an amplifier in the detection assembly.

The first two failed after about a month, I took them down and exchanged them for the same at the local Home Depot, they're still working as of last night. The third failed within the last few weeks, I took it down yesterday and went to the local Home Depot to exchange this one also, they had none in stock, six are scheduled to be shipped sometime in the future, they cant even set something up to notify me when they've shipped or arrived. We really like them, when working, seems there's a problem here that's not being addressed by Home Depot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worked for three months Exactly the light style that I was looking for. It did not have the quailty feel of a $50 light when I took it out of the box. Three months later I am hunting down old receits and trying to replace them as they burn out. I bought four and one has burnt out each week. Reading other reviews assures me that this product is junk and I am not the only one to have this problem. Shame because it looks good when it worked. Hopefully home depot will help me out with exchanging all four. I doubt they carrry this product much longer

They looked great, so four months later, I put two on the front porch....a month later, both back porch lights stopped working. I replaced them with a different brand. Glad I held on to my receipts; I am pretty sure we'll have to return the other two, as well. Nice, while they last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked well, but both lights failed to last an entire year. Easy to install, and worked very well while they were operational. But both of our two lights failed to even last a single year, very frustrated with the quality of the electronics.

After having it installed by a licensed electrician 3 months ago on our new addition, it stopped working. I regret not reading the many reviews here describing its unreliability. The light looks good, but don't be fooled. Home Depot were great, giving me a store credit for the deceased light, but the aggravation and time lost taint a large percentage of the 'goodwill' felt towards the store that I assume knows this product is sub standard, but still continues to peddle it. I replaced it with the non sensor Essen fixture. Eventually I will need to rewire with a remote sensor switch. [More work:-(].

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I see many negative reviews on this lamp but been using mine for over 5 years now and no problems. Well, I messed up a little when I changed the bulb out for one of those energy saving spiral bulbs which caused the bulb to go bad quickly. I changed the bulb out to a LED but it burned out also rather quickly, but this time I checked with a lighting place and they said I should use a dimmable LED because the photocell on it is an older version and wont work unless I use the dimmable. Been working great since. I have the light off the ground about 8 feet on my shed and it detects my movement from 40 feet easily on the movement detection when I use that but I now leave it on dusk to dawn because the LED uses only 5 watts. I use a daylight dimmable LED because I don't care for the yellowish light
