Many of these arrived broken. Glass broke easily during installation. They serve the purpose of replacing lights like this in a 70's home that already have this type of lighting.

We bought this light because we only have 5 7/16" available mounting space between the top of our storm door and the underside of the soffit. Most of the flush-mount lights I found were 5 1/2" in height, which would not fit with the space available. This light is about 5 1/8" in height, matched the overall look we were going for, and the price is right. I read the reviews online, and wasn’t feeling too optimistic, as most people said some of the panes were broken when arrived to the store. Sadly, the same happened to me. I made sure I opened the box at the customer service desk and inspected everything. First order, 2 out of the 4 side panes were broken, bottom pane intact. Fortunately, the nice people at customer service let me hang onto the intact panes. I returned my order, and placed a new order at the desk. This time, 2 out of the 4 side panes were broken, bottom pane also broken. But I had enough to piece together one light. I also read online that some people had difficulty with the metal clips that hold the panes in place during install. I kept that in mind during install. You will need to try fitting the panes, remove them, and then bend the clips into position. Repeat as needed. The glass is fragile, and I was worried it would break if I tried to bend the clips with the glass in-place. Installed it last night, overall looks and works great, and we can open our door :). The price is right, but the packaging quality is poor. My advice is this - Unless you need to buy this light due to clearance issues, spend a little more money, buy something else, and save yourself the headache. If you do have to buy this light, buy at least 2-3, and plan on spending some time at the customer service desk to try to salvage enough useable panes to make one light.

I ordered two fixtures for my back porch. The fixtures arrived promptly. When we opened the boxes to install the fixtures, the majority of the glass pieces were chipped, broken, or completely shattered. A screw required to hold the fixture to the mounting was missing. Between two boxes, we were able to get enough satisfactory pieces to install one fixture - even then, two of the glass panels had chips that were not visible once assembled. The installed fixture looks great. I hope that it will not take two fixtures to get the second fixture installed. I am disappointed that it will take a product return and additional purchase to get a second fixture. I am going to recommend this product - IF it is purchased and inspected in the store.

Nice light ,great price, love the way it looks, just do not order it, only purchase if you can find it at a store or plan on it being a while before you can put it up...they sent it to me 3 times broken! they never put it in another box just the shelf box with a label on it, despite my request to do so, the 3rd time it just had a chip of glass out so we ended up keeping it(we had been without a front porch light long enough!) good luck!

We have tried at least four times trying to get the glass replaced and have gotten the run around. They are saying know after the fourth time talking to them(and I mean 30 mins to 45 min on the phone with them) they say they are out of stock and can not replace them. This is after them telling me the first three times that they will be sending them out, then sending emails that there is a problem.
