The threaded nipple is too short, it barely mades a safe connection to hold the glass dome on. The diagram on the instructions indicates using the outer set of threaded screw holes, but the inner holes are the only ones that work to attach the base to the yoke across the electric box.

That of course means I like it. Last week's installation was straightforward, but took a little patience to get the mounting screws through the baseplate; the insulation did not want to cooperate. Additionally, because the ground wire was so short I found it easier to add a pigtail to the ground screw and then joined it to all of the ground wires with a wingnut connector. Incidentally, I used 60 watt equiv. daylight spectrum LED bulbs. It really brightens the 10 foot ceiling laundry room. All is well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Finial threads were messed up. Everything went well until I was putting on the finial. Would not thread. Took the nipple out and tried again under a work light. The threads on the finial seemed to be spray painted or something, very strange. Tried to thread again, would not go. Tried to even scrape off the spray paint, and it seemed like rust underneath. Don't know what that was all about but had to go buy another and return this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's a 10 light fixture, not really sure what else can be said, it works My only complaint is with the instruction manual. With regard to the metal bracket that attaches to the electrical box, it has 2 screw holes and then a slot on both ends. It is fairly obvious that you need to use one of the screw holes to attach the bracket to the box (I can't recall if it was outer or inner it's been a week) but the manual REALLY seems to show you are to use the other screw hole to attach the screws that the fixture itself will attach to the bracket. This is not correct, you need to use the slots. Unfortunately you don't realize this until you've already wired up the fixture and are trying to mount it. So, I had to unwire it take it down before realizing I needed to use the slots. Such a simple thing it would have been to more accurately show this in the manual. It's just lazy, though I guess for $10 that's one of the things they skip, making sure the installation guide is not confusing.
