I have had it for 2 years, the canopy is in shreds, and the cushion came apart at the seams. parts ARE available online, but the cushion is $100.00, and the canopy is another $50.
Even in the first year, the fabric faded in the Florida sun after only 2 months. it's not comfortable, and in the slightest wind, it's a parachute, or a sail. I found it in the neighbor's yard 3 times.
Get the more expensive one with better fabric. Don't waste your money on this one.

Have had this swing for three years now and it has held up well. We take it down in the late fall and store in basement. As many have stated it is a sling type seat and hard to get out of but we bought an extra thick bottom cushion for it and that helps. I am going to give the old one to my son to use and buy me a new one but I'll keep the extra cushion. He can get his own.

Just bought this, assembly was pretty easy, instructions adequate. Can be awkward by yourself such as tying the supports together and putting up the canopy, but manageable - Then again, I have worked in heavy construction for over 15 years, so something like this is childsplay to me. Helps to use a drill motor instead of hand wrench or the cheap throwaway wrench shapes they supply, some of these bolts eat up alot of thread.
Obviously cannot speak on its longevity, does not seem ultra cheap. You do sink into the seat somewhat due to its design, I imagine some may like this, some may not. Hangs kinda low, my old one I could swing just lifting my feet up a bit, this one I pretty much have to put my legs straight out to clear the ground, not very good for a swinger.
All in all a decent budget design, spend 2-3X as much, sure you'll get better quality and design.

The ad picture is deceptive because it shows a flat seat, but actually it is a sling seat, so you really sink in and exiting is a bit of a struggle. Even when not sitting in it the seat sags, so that picture is not representative. Anyway, that aside, the cushion fabric is very low grade with no sun protection. Within two years it is completely broken down and ripped to shreds. We are trying to find a replacement pad now, which is a problem. A factory made replacement pad is $99 (almost the cost of the swing new) and out of stock for 45 days (I need it in 20 days). I am having great difficulty finding another cushion that I'm sure will fit. Since the cushion and sling are an integrated unit, to replace the cushion I would need to replace the sling also. The other option would be to leave the sling/tattered cushion in place and buy a new cushion to put over the top to cover it. This might be workable if I can just find a cushion that I know will have the right dimensions and suitable attachment capability.

I just purchased this swing last week. The delivery on it was very fast! After I received it, I then read the reviews. I learned my lesson. Anyhow, the way I look at it is that everyone has different taste. It really isn't that bad of a swing for the price. This swing just won't work out for me because I have to worry about breaking it down durning winter and storing it. This definitely isn't the swing to get. The swing was very easy to put together. I am 47 yr old women and it took me about a hour 1/2. After that I sat in it and I sunk down and it doesn't have any back support at all! I called customer service and I am able to take it back to my local Home Depot for a full refund. The agent said that I could just load up the pieces in my car and the store would box it up for me right out of my car. Get customer service.

Uncomfortable, hard to get out of,and wont last unless you want to look at a bare frame after one year. Maybe if you could get replacement fabric for it the ratings would be better

Ridiculous design. Once completely put together it has no bottom support and is slung back in a very uncomfortable manner. The bar at the base of it sits right above the knees and is also very uncomfortable. We put it together, sat on it and immediately called the store to return it. The material is substandard. I can understand why other reviewers have stated that it was nothing more than tatters after a couple of years.

Despite mild California weather the fabric on the swing is now either in tatters or gone, after only two years. The frame is still good and solid but since I can not find replacement parts (need canopy and cushions) I will probably just toss it.
