Added a set of these lights to the kitchen, and they look great. Love the dimmer settings. Got 4 years out of them before they went out. Checked fuse like everybody said, and yep, it was blown. BUT, now with a new fuse, still nothing. Going to check a few other things out first, but to get a new one for $20 might be the thing to do. $5 a year is not bad.

As a new home owner, I wanted to make more nice my kitchen. We bought this product and at the beginning it was working fine. It went out and after I checked what was wrong, I knew it was the fuse that went bad. Change the fuse and again it went out a few times and then the light switch (dimmer) went out. Decide to remove all and threw t away. We'll never buy this brand again.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dave does NOT work with LED lights
Bought this product to use with LED lights and it is not compatible. No where on the package does it say this. Lights flicker noticeably on high and only dim slightly on lower settings.
Seemed to be perfect for my application, pity it is not compatible.

I have had these for over three years and they worked great. However they stopped working all of a sudden. All three lights were out. I came on here to see how much it would be to replace them and I read Kafkaesque's review about the fuse. Sure enough, I replaced the fuse and they are working fine again. I would recommend a buy and recommend checking the fuse before replacing.

Like many other reviews had to replace the entire unit after the original which lasted for quite some time. The second unit only lasted 3-4 months. I will open it up and will see about the fuse, it may be a quick blow style fuse and it may be blowing on in-rush current, so a properly sized time delay fuse may be the solution, as far as it being soldered in place its so the manufacturer has control over it and if replaced you are on your own, don't replace the fuse if you don't know what you are doing you could cause a potential hazard. Not worth a hazard for some lights, Install a hardwired dimmer and control power to a specific receptacle and you are all set, more work but less hazard.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kafkaesque Solid lighting option
If the dimmer unit stops working you can REPLACE THE FUSE instead of replacing the whole unit -- way cheaper. It's a 125v 2a 5x20mm fuse, but 250v seems to work too. THANKS PHLACOE FOR THE ADVICE BELOW!
This is a solid option for those who aren't electricians/contractors and don't want to spend hundreds to install the pipe supply needed for "real" under-cabinet lighting. Looks great once it's in place. Lots of light and nice to have three settings. Play around with placement before committing and potentially having to reposition -- too far forward or too far back and they don't look as good. Installation is labor-intensive and a little tricky -- you have to follow the instructions pretty carefully, and concealing the cords requires some ingenuity.
The bulbs will burn out if you leave these on a lot, so buy a supply. Worse is that the dimmer units blow out, apparently with some regularity (mine did and that's when I found these reviews). So buy a supply of fuses ($10 for 5 on Amazon)
