Answer:
Since the doors do not include hardware or any pre-drilled holes for hardware, you can flip the doors to hinge on the opposite. You will need to drill new holes for the hinge screws. So, make sure you do this before adding hardware!

Answer:
I bought Oak finished ones and needed the doors reversed. Just take them off, turn them over and re-attach. No problem. You might need to fill the old holes from the hing screws. Since they don't show when the door is closed, you might not bother with it

Hampton Bay has great cabinets for the price but they are 1/2" too tall for my project. I'm wondering if it would be possible to cut that amount off the bottom without affecting the bottom floor of the inside of the cabinet? Thanks!

Answer:
You can, just measure carefully around the base. A circular saw will cut the side and back. The front will likely take a jigsaw, sawsall, or a oscillating saw, something that doesn't require a lot of clearance. Or I suppose you could use a hand saw.

I answered this question myself by just going ahead and trying it. It was very easy to cut 1/2" off the bottom with my jigsaw and a blade for wood (smooth cut). I answered this question myself by just going ahead and trying it. It was very easy to cut 1/2" off the bottom with my jigsaw and a blade for wood (smooth cut). The actual INSIDE bottom of the cabinet is a good 3" or so higher than the outside frame, so it was just the outside frame that had to be cut off. I was adding this cabinet to my kitchen but my other cabinets were 44 years old but structurally in great shape. The old cabinets were put in and a tile floor installed years later, so the new cabinet had to sit on the tiled floor which made it taller than the others. Now that I know these cabinets can be cut off at the bottom so easily, I'm going to add 2 more base cabinets and just cut the bottoms off of those too. Read Less

Answer:
Countertops are sold separately. Granite fabricators often have small remnants that they will finish to fit the cabinet at a reduced price (approximately $120 where I live in SC). Home Depot sells prefab laminate countertop pieces but they require some work. Ask for help in the store.

Answer:
If your countertop sets on top of the cabinet and does not have a lip that hangs over, then there is plenty of clearance and no need for extra shimming.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect to replace defunct dishwasher This cabinet was installed in the place left vacant by a defunct dishwasher. It fits perfectly into the apperature, as you can see from the photo. One negative: The base piece is unpainted. Six positives: The drawer slides smoothly and is well balanced. The door hinges are solid. The construction tight; it didn’t wobble under pressure from the top or to the sides. The interior design is practical: one shelf is provided with holes drilled allowing additional shelving The exterior design is simple but appealing to the eye It is reasonably priced compared to other like offerings September 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Functional and cute ...But I am so confused on the shelving Easy to install but now confused. There are peg holes for the shelves but the shelf is no where close enough to fit. Am I missing something October 11, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended with Reservations For installation, I give this a 2. For everyday usage, I give this a 4. The cabinets are not built truly square and required quite a bit of sanding, shimming and chalking to get multiple units to line up. Once installed, the cabinets function well. The finish is pretty durable and easy to clean. The movable shelf is identical to the upper cabinets and only about 10" deep. There are several options of pre-drilled peg holes heights. You must install knobs or handles (there are no pre-drilled holes for this) because there is no space to grab the edge of the door below the drawer. The drawer is roomy and glides well but also requires knobs or handles to be installed to use. September 20, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Missing Parts Looks great, then went to put in the shelving and there aren't holes for the back where the pegs could fit. Of course I couldn't take them back since I already paid for them to get installed. I went back to Home Depot to ask why there were no holes and they said I could buy some 1/4"pegs. What? It supposedly came with all the parts. Irritated but have no choice since they've been installed Next time I will have them open a box and check it out myself October 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage The track was bent and the entire cabinet was racked. Half of all the cabinets were either damaged or improperly constructed and falling apart. I didn't realize the problems until they were unpackaged and in some cases installed. I highly recommend that people open these immediately possibly even at the store and be prepared to return half of what you bought. These cabinets are simply junk!! October 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A mistake I bought several of these cabinets. They are poorly put together and the drawer hardware seems pretty flimsy. I had to repair them where the KREG screws in the face frames do not hold their connection and reinforce them adding a place to attach the countertop. There is no attachment point in the base cabinets for connection to the countertop. The flyer for the cabinets is very misleading. I wish I had realized how they were built before purchasing them and bringing them home. My wife did not like the cabinets at Lowe's, though after installing these I looked over there stock cabinets and found they were a much better cabinet. My mistake! I generally depend on Home Depot for a good quality product. You let me down. August 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality I bought these cabinets for my kitchen remodel. I knew I was buying low budget cabinets but didn't realize I was buying poor and not well made cabinets. I still have the old Mills Pride Cabinets in my upstairs apartment that are 25 years old and still work well. When I finally unboxed the cabinets and really inspected them most of the doors were damaged and chipped. The fronts were exposed and were filthy.Home Depot told me to call the manufacturer and they will send out replacements. Most of my cabinets were special order to fit in my 130 year old kitchen. To make a long story short it took 3 tries to get new doors that were not chipped or not well made. Each time the manufacturer would send me doors with chips in the finish or defects in the finish that were very obvious. On the last one that I finally put up when I went to adjust the screw to straighten out the door the screw was stripped and that was the last time I has to email them and ask for the last parts. The cabinets are made form pressed wood and do not lean them to one side because you will rolls over the edges, The doors from what I understand are moulded and then faced with the finish. I have to admit though that once they were finally up they look very classic and nice. Had I known that it would take me as long as it did to get replacement doors and had I known the quality would have been so bad I would have not purchased these cabinets. The designer at my local Home Depot told me I could have spent double the amount and bought a better set of cabinets from another manufacturer. March 27, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by boxes to cheap and drawer guides poor quality this product is to cheaply made finish can easily be marked, on several cabinets finish was bubbled had to return to store after opened boxes very time consuming having to return to the store August 16, 2016
