Answer:
I did not research part replacement because I destroyed the total pole when I backed into it with my car. For the reasinable cost of the whole unit, buy the whole pole and save yourself some possible grief.

Answer:
If you are talking about the socket for the bulb the answer is no. The entire lamp with post will have to be replaced. I tried! The wiring is impossible to pull through the "U" shaped arm. The bolt pattern at the base was the same as my old post and made installation easy.

That is what I just did. When you go to screw on the new assembly to the post, you have to leave the wires from the switch below the new center piece, just sort of hanging in the post, or they will wrap themselves around the bracket in the center piece as you screw on that new center piece. I used a string attached to those wires and just fished them up once the new assembly was screwed on. If you are just replacing one of the lamps, remove the cap in the center of the post, then, remove the screw holding the lamp to the center piece and detach the wires. Reassemble. Read Less

I have been waiting on them to stock the white for a couple of months but I'm not seeing it. Does anyone know how long it has been out of stock and if I should just go elsewhere?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 89 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Only white residential historic looking light posts on the market I ordered 2 lamp posts. Both came missing the nuts needed to hold the "arms" on the inside of the main shaft. When All assembled the top of the pole tapered so rapidly that the thickness of my wire did not fit at the top of the lamp and became an installation nightmare, however, I would do it again as I've been checking on-line, with electricians, with Grangers, with ever resource conceivable, for 6 months and could find nothing better to replace my damaged lamp posts. I needed white and I needed an old fashion look to go with my historic property. There was nothing else to be found except single bulb light poles and I needed the light of 3 bulbs in each fixture. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice I had this light on my deck and after 10 years the top light section rust! I really only needed a replacement for the top light section and you can not purchase that section only! The post was fine. So I ordered a whole new light/lamp post! The color from the new one still matched the old one so all we did was replace the light top section. You couldn't tell the pist was 10 yeas old and the light top section was new! We are storing the post in case in the future we may need to change the old on. I do like this light post you can't beat the price! August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS POST LIGHT IN THE BACK YARD!!! Great, super, lights up my back yard. Bring peace, safety...fulfillment decor...day and night. September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lampost Great price! This looks beautiful in my yard. It came well packaged. Would reccomend this one to anyone. August 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product had 4 set of them for over 12 years still in good shape Last for years and years only replacing one because tree trimmer drop branch on it. Must be mounted in cement bolted down had to pour cement where i want to place them. otherwise all other installation was easy. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice For The Price The light is short but its worth the buy.......... August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice lamp posts I have purchased 2 of these lights 10 years ago, and these new ones are exactly the same fine quality as the original ones. I am very happy with them. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by light post This light was bought to replace an older one of the exact same model. I had buried the base portion ( the bottom foot) when I kept adding dirt to the planter I put it in. Well the bottom foot just disintegrated, turned to powder, flakes and chips. the new one was at least an exact perfect replacement and I just had to replace that part of the lamp. but $129.00 is kind of expensive for a 1 foot section of aluminum/ pot metal. The part I needed was not available individually so I had to buy the entire lamp. But the product itself is very nice, easy to assemble and if you don't bury it very durable. not only would I buy it again, I did. April 26, 2016
